Taurus 942 .22 LR 3" Revolver, Matte Black – 2-942031

I’ve been looking for this revolver for over 3 months. Received it yesterday and it more than exceeds my expectations. It arrived very quickly after my order was placed. I would not hesitate to order from Guns.com again. This revolver is a nice shooting little gun. A perfect addition as a back up for personal carry and playing on the range.

I like to shoot, keep my skills up and with this 22LR it makes it affordable. Plus it’s a good gun to introduce the sport to my Grandkids with. Not to mention that I love revolvers.

fun little gun. reliable as revolvers typically are. prices are kinda high but i somewhat understand considering these things get bought up as soon as they are in stock. good gun to teach a brand new shooter on. was gonna buy another but as i stated they get sold before i can get my hands on them.

Taurus has done a great job with the 942! We bought the basic, full-weight, 23.6oz model with whatever the unpolished magic paint of the day is on it. Low maintenance and who cares handling - relative to the sensitivities of companionable S&W Mod 36's. Just own it, use it, and don't worry about it same as the M-85. Shot every type of .22lr with no problems. I shot some 22 shorts also, but some of them split their case ( not recommended). Was fairly accurate shooting off hand. I like it.

Shooting rimfire revolvers is a ton of fun, and this little Taurus has performed well for us. The finish on the gun leaves a lot to be desired, although the price reflects that. Spend more, get more. Overall I like this revolver as it shoots accurately and holds 8 rounds. Recommended.
