Thus Taurus compact performs great! I’ve used 3 different types of load and haven’t had any trouble. The trigger is pretty nice and it groups well. I’ve heard some negative feedback about Taurus, I took a chance with this purchase and I’m glad I did.

Have had this gun for 6 weeks. I bought the G2C in flat earth and .40 ca. I added a viridian laser for 65 bucks. I couldn't be more pleased. I have been shooting all my life, retired LE, and I converted all my guns to .40 cal. (One gun one ammo, except for a little Kimber 9mm my wife has) I have never been a Taurus fan until now. This gun shoots well, feeds well, adjustable sights, laser ready, external safety, internal safety, chambered round indicator, and takes down very easily for cleaning. It holds 11 with one chambered. Very concealable. I have not found one thing I dislike about it and I have run through at least 200 rounds of old .40. All that for 250 bucks. I think it's a steal.

Very good 40 cal for a woman or man. Compact and easy to conceal. I added a beam and it looks and feels even better.

Cheap but decent pistol. Has a long trigger pull so it'll take some getting use to and practice. Accurate shot. Other than that, light trigger pull. Got it in the 40 s&w caliber. Could be better. Overall good pistol for the price.

Purchased recently from Bass Pro online. Haven’t taken for a test run (range), yet. Also, I’d rather pay an extra $10 and get the TAURUS gun case. Cardboard boxes not desirable. Thus the 4 Rating on this product. Product arrived ahead of the estimated arrival time. ???????? Impressed with the look, feel and ergonomics. Even though they are “plasticky”, the rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation. That’s better than those found on some other higher priced pistols. In addition, you can replace them easily, without having to use a sight installation tool! ???????????????? Mags (2) are tight when loading, but after a break in period they should loosen up. Research your options BEFORE choosing a target, self defense, edc pistol, but judging by the written and YouTube reviews, this is a very good value/deal. At this time, I do recommend the G2C and the excellent customer service/sales rep’s encountered at the local Bass Pro Shop. KUDOS to Bass Pro ????????????????????????

I purchased the Taurus G2C 40 Cal pistol in early June of 2023.Took it to the range a week after it arrived and it jammed continuously no matter what I put through it. Winchester, Federal, Blazer Brass all FMJ. Slide is very hard to remount when the firearm is cleaned and reassembled. I contacted Taurus, sent in under warranty. Taurus had it for a month. Returned it stating it was repaired. Just took it back out to the range today first time since back from repair and same thing. Constantly jams using good ammo. Blazer Brass, Winchester, Herter's, Federal. Have to send the G2C.40 in again for repair. At this point, Taurus has had this firearm in for repair longer than I have had ownership.I am beyond frustrated with this purchase and will not recommend this pistol to anyone. Total waste of money and not a safe or reliable product. I do not have this problem with any other firearms I own.Being that its new, I wish I could just return this to Bass Pro for a different more reliable weapon. Won't be ordering through Bass Pro anymore either. Beyond frustrated.
