Taurus TX22 22lr Pistol 16rd 4", ODG – 1-TX22141O-ODG

Magazines are junk, what good is a pistol when Taurus can't make decent reliable magazines. I purchased 4 additional magazines through Taurus along with the 2 original ones that came with the gun and every time they fail to feed. The 22LR rounds do not stick up high enough to engage so you have to remove the magazine from the gun and reposition the rounds inside the magazine to engage. I would not recommend purchasing this gun until Taurus comes up with a better solution with the magazine feeding issues.

Thinking this is one of my best firearm purchases yet. Been to the range twice with it now and it’s performed flawlessly. No miss fires or jams using different types of ammo in it. Great little 22 range pistol. The price couldn’t be beat either.

Their is a process that Bass Pro has to do and the make it as painless as possible. First gun purchase and I asked alot of questions. Next step, get my range time in.

This pistol is one of many in my collection. I still love to shoot 22, it’s still just fun. This gun is a bargain for the money, but more importantly is well made and terrific/accurate to shoot. I’m considering buying the compact version to carry as a pocket weapon. The TX22 is a winner!

1st taurus purchase. Very pleased with it. ran 300 rounds through it first day. Standard lead range ammo and CCI mini mag. no issues at all. Came with 2 16 round magazines. Easy to load. Easy take down for cleaning. Stripped it before first use. Was immaculate. I've spent as much on center fire ammo in a day than this pistol cost. More fun to shoot than I anticipated. Definitely going to help stretch my ammo stock. As accurate as the shooter.

Great shooter for a great price. As a first time owner, wanted something easy to start with and get used to target practive. Easy on the hand, low recoil, and mechanics (how it works) are excellent. Have had it less than month and run 400 rounds on it with just one jam (less than ideal weight). I suggest keeping to 40 grain ammo. Will shoot just about anything though. It does get soot/dirty so I would look at a cleaning kit every 300+ rounds. Aftermarket for it is getting better and also would recommend a third-party fast loader for the magazines. Get several at a time you'll have fun shooting them and at a low cost too.

Shoots any brand ammo you put in it. I was going to buy a Glock, but too many reports of it being picky on ammo brand.

I like gun. Added a few extra pieces. Runs like a champ, trigger is amazing, would have never expected it from a taurus

Excellent firearm. Points well and groups well. Twice as fast as my walther p22 and better grouping.
