great gun, fast, 3 16 rounds mags included. very light, easy to handle, great for steel shot competitions or plinking, many modifications can be done with it from many companies.

Havent gotten through a single mag without smashing a round. 2 types of CCI mini mag target and varmint, and remmington thunderbolt. Few hundred rounds by 3 different shooters. Never went a mag without a FTF and crushing the rounds.

Great product out of the box. Cycled all 22 ammo i put THROUGH it including with a silencer. Highly recommend tandemkross aftermarket partd as well for COMPETITION parts

Feeds a bunch of different ammo with no problem, very accurate with holosun 407 gr2 site no issues with magazines no fail to eject in about 550 rounds. cci mini mag, old winchester and old Remington and new federal

Excellently designed pistol. best handling and most accurate 22 I have ever used, including Beretta, browning, S&W and Ruger. The trigger is perfect, mags eject without issue, assembly and disassembly takes only a minute. pistol comes with 3 mags, muzzle brake in a nice case. Purchased a Viridian laser, 3 mags and holster in a bundle from Taurus for $95. Tried CT red dot but prefer the laser.

Overall - great pistol. Pros - Accurate, feels good in the hand, capacity, great red dot platform. Con - Ammo picky. It does not like ammo that has waxy ‘lubrication’ - tends to cause feeding issues.

The gun shoots great, though I didn’t care for the factory sights. Swapped in a set of Eagle Eye fiber optic sights and that’s the ticket!

Looks great, shoots well. I had some folks say it would be picky with ammo. I ran a variety of different kinds through, fast and slow. No problem. The grip feel on this gun is outstanding.

Just picked up the Taurus TX22 Competition and went through 6 or 7 magazines. From the first trigger pull just love it. The grip is really nice and the operation is so easy. This was the first a few range officers had seen of the competition so there was a line up wanting to fire. Everyone had smiles. Cannot wait to get red dot mounted next.

Very accurate with a holosun sight . Some issues with hollow point ammo . Feeds solid points more reliably . And why plastic clips ! All in all nice gun but could be improved with little effort

Shoots very tight groups at 25 yards after breaking it in with a few hundred rounds. Trigger was very gritty initially. Applied some gun oil and it smoothed out with use. Shot a wide variety of subsonic and supersonic ammo and it cycled flawlessly. A fun gun to shoot.

Bought this rimfire gem for Steel Challenge Rimfire Pistol Open, and have not been disappointed. I was using a Ruger Mark IV, then bought the Taurus, what a difference. Rugers are great guns, and I like them, but this Taurus is, in my opinion, a much better gun for Steel Challenge. I sold the Ruger, and never looked back.

This gun is a winner! I also have a Sig P322, which I like fine. But it is much more temperamental about various ammunition. Also, the Taurus TX22 Competition is heavier (close to my 9mm SW MP 9mm) and feels great in my hand. I mounted a Holosun 507c X2 on it. The mounting plate system is the best. Defective out of the box. Straight from the box, this TX-22 failed to feed CCI minimags, winchester super-x, federal round nose and federal hollow point. The rounds get hung up on the magazine, the feed ramp and the chamber. The slide crushes the rounds. Issues are with all three magazines that shipped with the pistol. It is a nice looking pistol but unfortunately would not fire when I took it to the range. The rounds were not being struck properly by the firing pin. I called Taurus and they were very nice and didn't seem too surprised. They told me that it was an incorrectly formed barrel and they put one in the mail that day. I have over 3 hundred rounds threw this pistol and have not been able to cycle a full mag. The pistol will not cycle the round into the chamber no matter what ammo I use

This is my favorite pistol for target practice - the lightest recoil, the most accurate, the smoothest. Taurus managed to provide a mount for an optic that is independent from the slide, so you can put whatever optic you want on top and not weigh down the slide. That is the kind of thinking that would make a more reliable 5.7x28 pistol - HINT Taurus HINT! Like any 22 LR pistol, it likes some bullets and not others. This Taurus does not like some from Remington or anything from CCI -
