Tikka T3x Compact Tactical Black Bolt Action Rifle – 260 Remington – The Tikka T3x Compact Tactical has a new modular synthetic stock that allows for interchangeable pistol grips, making it possible to modify the angle of the grip (additional grips are sold separately). 1 year agoFirst, I haven't shot it yet, but I have every expectation that it will be sub-MOA out of the box. What pissed me off more than anything is that it was impossible to change the rail without going to a gunsmith! I wanted to replace the stock rail with a 20 MOA rail and the 6 screws were impossible to break loose. I don't know what compound Tikka uses but it holds. Gunsmith tried everything he had, and fell short of EDM. If he'd had to EDM the screws, it would have been @ $77.00 a hole! Anyway, I got the 20 MOA rail installed, and waiting for rings. Just thought I'd warn you. As for the service from EuroOptic...first class.

1 year agoI have a tikka t3x CTR in 260 rem. It is the most accurate gun i own. I get routine 5 shot groups with handloads that are 0.50- 0.75 inches across.

1 year agoFirst off, excellent service from Eurooptic-thank you for a smooth transaction and quick shipping. My rifle out of the box with Prime factory match ammo is .5 MOA at 100 yards. I am very impressed with the fit and finish. The bolt is as smooth as glass (light years ahead of a factory Rem 700), trigger excellent with no creep and factory box magazine works flawlessly. For $1000, this rifle is a steal. Add quality glass and drop into a chassis for a solid, entry level rifle that can compete with more expensive platforms.
