Tikka rifles are innovative, durable, and can perform under 1 M.O.A accuracy. The Tikka T3x product family combines long-standing gunsmith expertise with the real experiences of Tikka hunters and sport shooters from all over the world. The modular synthetic stock has interchangeable pistol grips (sold separately), making it possible to modify the angle of the grip for multiple shooting positions, and an additional attachment point allowing you to change the width of the stock’s forend. Other improvements include a widened angular ejection port, extra screw placements on top of the receiver to securely attach a Picatinny rail and a recoil pad. The T3x Compact Tactical Rifle (CTR) offers high performance in all situations. It has a durable aluminum trigger guard and a magazine release lever enabling rapid magazine changes. Its compact size, Picatinny optic rail, Teflon bolt and semi-heavy barrel contour with 5/8×24 muzzle thread make this rifle a reliable tool for all training purposes and as a hunting rifle. Includes a 10-round steel magazine and vertical angled grip for prone shooting.

1 year agoPurchased several years ago through Eurooptic.com this rifle is as stated, out of the box 1/2 MOA accuracy. I recently upgraded the stock to a Grayboe Phoenix and I'm very happy.

1 year agoI decided to go for the Tikka T3x CTR in .308 because of all the good reviews regarding the platform. I wanted to get into precision shooting, but I am on a budget, and have thousands of rounds' worth of .308 components on hand. I also want long barrel life so decided against going with the 6.5 Me-Too-Moor. So far I am pleased with the build quality, accuracy with factory FGMM 168 (.5 MOA) and have begun my road to developing a load this rifle likes. Not sure why it has a mile-long throat, but I guess this is the European way, and doesn't seem to affect accuracy so long as you use a bullet that is jump-agnostic. SMK and TMK seem to shoot really well at mag-lengths. Will see what hybrid or ELD bullets do. I dropped this rifle into a Cadex Lite Competition Folder and super pleased with the ease of installation. Many options available in the aftermarket, but I am keeping this one as stock as possible (except for chassis) At less than a grand, you cannot go wrong with this high quality rifle.

1 year agoI have a Tim's light 308 and it shoots totally awesome. I just got the t3x ctrl and cut holes for 100 yards out of the box!!!

1 year agoGreat ergonomics. Bolt handle is larger for easy engagement. cheek riser and stock are comfortable and allow for a great purchase on the weapon. Semi heavy tactical tapered barrel provides for a great balance and handling - comfortable shooting several rounds from bench in stock configuration and light enough to pack out hunting. Standard 5/8x24 threads and pic rail on receiver from factory are nice - can kit out the rifle easily for your needs. Very smooth action. One of the most accurate rifles I own. Consider this, I have an Aimpoint H2 mounted and easily get 1.25” groups. With a scope it does 1/2”. I would say the trigger on my Bergara is slightly better, but that is the only knock against this Tikka. Overall happy with the purchase and plan to get a lot of hogs with it and the Aimpoint.

1 year agoLove the smooth action , best factor action I have felt. Nice threaded 20 inch heavy barrel. The stock is the weak link in this set-up For the money it's a great rifle.

1 year agoI’m no marksman but I easily shoot 1moa groups. I’m sure a marksman could make clover leafs all day with this bad boy. Also, I may reduce the trigger weight and see if that helps. The rifle is a little heavier than I expected but the short 20” barrel makes it very balanced. The finish is nothing fancy as is evident in the photos but the blueing appears to be very durable. My only thing I don’t like is the bolt is treated with some type of blueing and it seems to drag a little. I’m sure this will smooth out with use.

1 year agoNothing negative at all to say. What an amazing rifle!! First day at the range last Saturday. Check out my 4th and last target. Sub-moa is an understatement. More accurate out the box than my previous custoM.
