Got the rifle for father's day. like everything about it EXCEPT the muzzle brake that comes with it does not fit. It is threaded in what appears to be M18-1. The thread protector (shipped on the barrel) and barrel are threaded in 5/8-24, as advertised.
At this price point everything should be in tact and working
Cabela's live chat advice is go to the store. The Store is "Sorry we cant do anything, contact Tikka" 1st off Good luck contacting Tikka. their customer service is worse than Cabela's. 2nd their advice is go to the dealer or distributor which is dun dun dun Cabela's.
Cabela's could have ordered the muzzle brake and exchange it when the new/correct one comes in.
I have heard good things about Tikka rifles. Seems their quality assurance is a little lax
Cabela's customer service on this is at best abysmal.
P.S. Don't get me started on the scope mounting the day I picked it up-->I ended up taking it home and doing it myself
My confidence in Cabela's is not looking good

Accurate (flat to 200+), predictable, best bolt action for the price. Not much difference in the "kick" between regular and muzzle break. Worthy purchase. C'mon huntin' season!

I bought this January 2023, there’s a reason the muzzle break isn’t installed on the floor, they don’t fit. I purchased from Bass Pro shop Manteca Ca. It’s a great riffle but this inconvenience shouldn’t happen at the price point...

Purchased this Rifle in a 7MM and it's quite the beast. Very accurate and nice little kick to it, definitely recommend this rifle. If you want something top-notch replace the pistol grip with a vertical soft grip and the butt with a limbsaver!

Great shooting rifle! The action is smooth and trigger is crisp. The factory brake really reduces recoil and makes shooting sessions longer and more enjoyable. The rifle is lightweight and a joy to carry on long hikes

It’s a great gun. I thought this one came with an adjustable hand grip but it did not. Shoot really well. It feels really good. Overall the gun is fantastic. They could improve the stability of the far end of the stock so when you put a bipod on it, it doesn’t flex in touch the barrel. Very light. Shoots very well out-of-the-box. I wish the camo color was more like Kuiu classic with larger patterns. But it’s pretty good. I would buy it again. Especially if they fix these issues. Still beats a Remington. Ruger. Howa. Bergara. And anything else I tried. The christensen guns are better, but they are also double the money. The action is super slick on this.

I have been looking at these Tika T-3s for the last several years. They have the best action of any factory rifle. They were always a little out of reach, but during the Hunting Classic this year I finally got one. It is as good a rifle as I thought it was !
