1 year agoThis is my 4th Tikka and every one is incredible. They are great shooters and this one is no different. I bought the .270 to round out my collection. It's fit and feel are above and beyond. The 5 star rating is for the rifle and it deserves it. The only problem is the item description says it's cerakoted but it's not. I called Beretta (Tikka) and they said that model is not cerakoted. That's why I wanted this one for bad weather. It's still a beauty and I will enjoy it for years to come but if you buy it for the cerakote choose a different model.

1 year agoThis gun is awesome!! Fresh out of the box at 100 yrds placed 3 rounds the size of a dime on paper and again at 200 yrds . I was surprised at the low amount of recoil and comfort of shooting this well thought out rifle.I would definitely steer anyone towards the Tika brand rifles.

1 year agoAction is nice and smooth. Trigger is crisp and not too heavy for a hunting rifle. Recoil isn't terrible without the factory brake, but it feels like a 6.5 Creedmoor with it installed. With a better recoil pad, it would probably be pretty comfortable without the brake. I didn't buy a Tikka in the past because of the stock, but really like the feel of the roughtech stock. Shot sub MOA at 100 and 200 yds with a randomly chosen moderate charge of H4350 and 175 SMKs during break in. During first

1 year agoMy friends all convinced me to buy this. I came from a x-bolt over to this in the same 300 wsm with a handload with 168g barnes ttsx. In the browning i was shooting 1-1.2 moa and wasn't really satisfied. put the same load in this gun and my first three shot group is .3-.4 moa, with the exact same hand load. About 3x more accurate. It also kicks less with the muzzle break.

1 year agoI got this in 270 Win. During break-in, I tested two commercial loads; Winchester 130gr copper, and Federal 130gr copper. I also tested various Reloads of Nosler 130 gr Ballistic tip (lead core), and GMX Hornady copper130 gr. 5 shot groups of each load. The Federal gave 1 inch groups at 100yd. Winchester 1.25. Nosler Reloads gave best group @ 1/2 inch with 53 gr of IMR 4831. I set the slug at 0.020 inch off the lands. Three other powder charges were very close with Nosler. I need to do some

1 year agoLove it. Buy one even if you don’t think you need it, you do. 3/4 minute with Winchester 150g Deer Slayer. Can’t wait to put some reloads through it and see what she can really do.
