Tikka T3x Lite Stainless 6.5 Crd Bolt Action Rifle, Black – JRTXB382

This is my second Tikka rifle and the most accurate rifle that I have ever owned. I adjusted the trigger to my desired 3 pounds of pull, put a high quality scope on it, bore sighted the scope and the first three rounds out of the rifle were all inside of a 1/2 inch at 100 yards.

I have owned three of these rifles and I won't buy anything else. Great accuracy right out of the box and they are a breeze to carry around the woods but the most important feature for me is the ability to adjust the trigger pull myself down to 3 pounds.

Excellent rifle, less than 1 MOA with Hornady 180 Whitetail in 30/06. Smooth bolt, high quality, rugged. I really ...REALLY like the scope mount built in to the rifle!! Someone posted a 1 star review ..... some silliness about the bolt being easily lost...pay no attention!

I am not a highly experienced marksman, but I was able to shoot sub MOA groups with this rifle, even using inexpensive Aguila ammo. The bolt action is very smooth on this rifle and feels like the tolerances are very tight. The light weight makes this easily portable and therefore very suitable for hunting. There are two things that I have to point out that are on the negative side for this rifle but don't take a star away for me: 1. My T3x rifle would not load Wolf ammunition. The Finnish rifle doesn't like Russian ammo--go figure. Everything else I have tried has worked, but I will always cycle new ammo through this before taking it to the range or the field, so I can avoid rounds not working when it is critical. Yes, they were the right caliber. 2. The stock on this is very rigid--which is good--but it is also very plasticky and seems like it might be slick if wet (I did not test this). There is a fairly aggressive stippling to the stock and it didn't give me any trouble, but I prefer the Hogue grips that I have on a couple other rifles. All around, this is a great rifle and I have no problem recommending it.

I had no experience with Tikka rifles, but after reading nearly all positive reviews of the T3x, I hesitantly pulled the trigger on a stainless laminate one in 7mm Rem Mag. The trigger was super easy to adjust down and is better than nearly all factory triggers that I've shot. After sampling a few factory loads I found the Barnes 139gr lrx to shoot under 1/2 MOA. Then I shot federal 160gr partitions and had several 3 shot groups at 100 yds that touched or nearly touched. I think there will be more tikkas in my future.

Purchased this Tikka rifle in .270 Win and it shoots 100 yd groups at about an inch on cheap factory ammo! And I am not a sharpshooter. Just a hunter.

Cheers from Australia! I too was hesitant, every shortcut possible to make a Rockchucker cheap to build they rolled into one unit and this is it. One size action, all plastic bolt shrouds(on the old t3 rigs), trigger guard, magazines and other furnishings etc.. forget all of it because I jumped on the tikka bandwagon due to lack of south paw options and it’s the best decision I ever made! I got one in 223 1/12 twist and I shoot alot I mean 5500 acres of fat lambs and foxes everywhere giving me never ending grief alot. The sako barrel is fantastic whatever you feed it 1inch or better groups all day no worries and the trigger is like glass. Bolt basically floats down the battery and feeds and throws spent cases without drama. Nice thin and sturdy stock fits like a glove feels solid and the whole rigs light as a feather. I show mine no respect poor girl looks like it’s come out of a cement mixer full of gravel but it does what it’s told every time and can only tell the doubters just do it. Just clicked over 12 months with mine, 4th case (not box) of cheap 55 grain federals and not a drama, just a great workhorse rifle. no frills but no complaints, I even named my new pup tikka.

I bought this rifle a few years ago after a lot of research. I decided to drink the kool-aid and get a 6.5 Creedmoor. Looked at several brands, I had decided (as a Dinosaur) to go with a "plastic stock and stainless barrel. Got a great deal on the T3X lite and after adjusting the trigger and mounting a new scope, I went to the range and it shot like a dream. I did have a problem with it being hard to load and unload several different brands of ammo, but after talking to Beretta USA they ask me to send it in. I got back quickly and found out that it was a head spacing issue. I shot "Gooder" and over the last couple years I upgraded the stock to a Bell & Carlson (.25 lbs, more weight) and real Bottom metal from High Desert. Before I bought this gun I laughed at "Plastic" guns but I find myself reaching for it all the time, while passing up some truly great old friends. Tikka is the real deal

I recently bought the T3x Lite Stainless in .308 to build a deer/ black bear rifle. This was my first Tikka but after seeing the quality and accuracy of these guns, it will not be my last. Other rifles may accomplish the same things as this rifle does, however, they do not do it with the quality that a Tikka does. The smoothness of the action is like sliding ice on glass. You have to feel it for yourself. I own many rifles, many of which are much more expensive, however, this rifle has become one of my top favorites.

This is one of the most accurate guns I have ever shot. I bought a 7mm rem mag in the left hand model and it is a little snappy due to it being so light but still worth every penny. Dialed in at an inch high at 100yds with Federal Fusion 150 grains (sub MOA of course) and now that you cant find them anymore I swapped over to 165 grain Sierra Game King's and shot them even better with no adjustment. Action is butter smooth and the adjustable trigger just puts it over the top.

Got my Tikka stainless in 270 and it just works like a charm. Lovely gun, easy to mount optics and darn accurate.

My only problem was with the receiver plastic screws that were lock tited in. I could not get them out, had to take it to a gunsmith, $$$

Incredible gun for the money. Very light and easy to handle. Shot 1moa with the first box of ammo, might do better if I try different kinds. Couldn’t be happier - love it!

Lives up to it's (Excellent) reputation so far at ~150 rounds. Easily sub MOA 3 shot groups with 2 different reloads. Trigger adjustment was easy and went down to 2 lbs, 2 oz. Weight with NF 2.5-10x32 NSX is 7.6 lbs.

This gun is under 9 pounds with a scope and adjustable cheek rest, which were added. Nice and light which was the purpose of buying it. Very smooth action. With trigger spring change and lowest adjustment the pull measured at 6 ounces. Only put about 70 to rounds down range so the barrel is still breaking in but even still very satisfied.

Killed an antelope on my first trigger pull with a purpose other than training. Beautiful bolt action rifle.

Tikka rifles are excellent guns for the price; I have 5. I haven't had the opportunity to shoot the 6.5 Creedmoor yet, but I have no doubt it will perform as well as my other Tikka rifles.

I’ve only shot it once so far but I’ve no complaints. The bolt feels a little loose, but not when loading/extracting. Overall the action is very smooth but shutting the bolt with a round in there must be done in one motion or it stops. Also, I’ve only shot it once so t has t been worked in. Craftsmanship seems high. For this price I feel I got a great piece of equipment.

Bought this for my wife. She liked how light it was for her to handle. I liked the balance and the finish work on the machining. I strapped on a tally base/rings with a leupold 3-15x scope. This rig is an absolute tack driver and handles great. Ill be buying a roughtech for myself in the future
