1 year agoRequires skilled modification to the stock and barrle. Not recommend for someone without a gunsmith background. You will need a mill and press for the barrel and a lathe would be a big help for the wood work. The stock is a cheap pine.

1 year agoThe worst muzzle loader kit I ever got!! The brass is pitted! The wood of the forearm is much darker then the stock. And I've been a wood worker for 50 years! VERRY UNHAPPY!!

1 year agoInstruction sheet photos of parts was small which left out much of the detail. The instructions included steps that were not necessary and left other important steps out.

1 year agoA very nice solid kit. Well made and good quality. I added a custom serpent side plate and some gold wire engraving. Used rusty walnut stain and about 10 coats of hand rubbed tru oil with steel wool in between coats. It's really beautiful.
