1 year agoI recently purchased as a birthday present for myself and was the biggest waste of time and money ever! I spent 2 weeks taking my time to finish it just to ruin the stock, finish and bluing trying to assemble it. The holes in the barrel for brass piece are drilled at an angle so they dont line up. I had to remove almost 1/4 inch of wood in some areas to make things fit. They claim to pre fit everything at the factory but that is a lie! If it was true i wouldn't have to do so much filing and carving to make things fit

1 year agoI bought it as a gift for my son, I have nothing I can report on it. He has it and lives out of state.

1 year agoOverall I'm pretty happy with it, I just had a couple of minor issues building it. First, the screw that holds the trigger to the barrel wasn't long enough so I had to modify it a bit. Second, it was missing one of the screws that holds the trigger guard. Lastly, the trigger is loose and feels odd. I fixed this by putting a generic compression spring above the trigger mechanism in the frame and it feels much nicer. Overall a very solid feeling gun. I can't wait to shoot it once my black powder is done.

1 year agowas fun to put together and finish the wood staining and blueing process . There was some challenges in sighting but got best results with 250 gr. casted real bullets , was able to shoot 3inch groups at 20 yrds. . I had to add to the hight of the front blade with some JB weld to get on a pie plate at 20 yards. Shooting black powder is great fun and much less expensive !

1 year agoI had a great time putting this kit together. The key to doing this kit right is to not be in a hurry. Mine turned out very nice. I had to do a little custom fabricating but nothing to difficult. It also shoot great and is fun to shoot.
