Traditions NitroFire 50 Caliber Realtree Edge/Cerakote Break Action-Hammer Fire In-Line Muzzleloader – 26in – Traditions Firearms has changed muzzleloading forever. They’ve partnered with Federal Premium and Hodgdon Powder to make muzzleloading safer, more reliable, and more consistent. The new NitroFire muzzleloader is .50 caliber and has a 26in ultralight chromoly steel fluted and tapered barrel, 1:28in twist rifling, Dual Safety System, and much more. The NitroFire is also equipped with Traditions new Elite XT trigger system. The Elite XT trigger system is designed with a rebounding hammer and a manual cross block trigger safety. The Elite XT trigger allows the action to be broken open with the cross bolt safety engaged which allows you to load or unload your muzzleloader and view the chamber.

2 years agoWorks good. Killed a buck the first afternoon that I hunted with it. Good accuracy. I'm using 295 grain powerbelt hollow points. Trigger is a little hard to pull. It's clean but slightly stiffer than I'm used to. Ramrod rattles a little when walking. I'm not a fan of the crossblock safety. In my opinion no need for a safety on a gun with a hammer. Love the firestick concept. Thats why I bought the gun. Eliminate any moisture issues. That's what plagued me with my other muzzleloader. Several
