It looks good, feels good, but I still can’t say it’s good because I’m unable to find ammunition for this gun. Bummer!!

I haven't had a chance to take it to the range, but I have all the necessary shooting supplies. The fit finish and quality of manufacturing is far superior than I thought I would get. It is almost to pretty to that shooting. (almost). I consider it as one of my best gun purchases for the price.

The Traditions 1858 Army is a beautiful reproduction. I’ll never know how it shoots, as it was purchased for display only, along with my cavAlry saber and rifled musket.

I got this for deer hunting and hogs since it is 44 cal. well when you are firing 30 to 35 FFF grain loads it beats this gun apart ! The brass is too soft for firing a load large enough to generate velocity and energy to kill game. The gun started misfiring after just 50 rounds, it grew or stretched from the pounding it was getting from the firing. Gun would be fine for light target shooting only.

Very nice revolver. Shoots very good. Use 777 fff at 25 grains. Shot over twoo hundred .451 bAlls with no problems. It's very strong even being a brass frame. Very fun to shoot. I also have .44 Cal 1851 Navy steal frame and 1860 Army steal frame. But with the 1858 having the Remington type frame it's strong and okay to have a brass frame.

Beautiful revolver; displayed on the wall between shooting. I’ve fired about 100 rds through it with no problems.

Very nice replica of a classic revolver. The details are very good and it is very solidly built. The only things to watch out for is that it has a brass frame which scratches easily. Also the cylinder removal and reinstall is a little tricky. All in all this is a very nice weapon.
