Everything about this rifle is superior. Fit, the finish, the way the mechanicals sound. Put a scope on the Volquartsen and almost immediately started hitting center of target. This will be the best target rifle the longer it goes to the range.

This is my 4th Volquartsen and 2nd rifle. I was so pleased with the build quality and accuracy of the VT2, I decided to pickup a 22LR rifle as well. At 100 yards, shooting from a good sled, the Ultralite Volquartsen had unholy accuracy at 50 and 100 yards. I'm not a great shooter, just a hobbiest that enjoys shooting sports. The triggers on the Volquartsen are sensational: 2-stage, with the smoothest takeup followed by the crispest "snap". Time you shots with your breath and heartbeats, and I'm shooting groups I couldn't believe. Groups were dime-sized at 50 yards and quarter-sized at 100. Build quality is stunning, as expected for Volquartsen. The rifle itself is a featherweight, and the laminated stock fits (literally) like a glove. This is a rifle that will outlast me, and be handed down. As with many things in life, you get what you pay for. Not cheap. Worth every penny.
