I bought this a year ago and it eats any bulk ammo you can throw at it. 700 rounds without a malfunction. The only downside for me was I paid $401.00 for it from GAG!!Would buy again!! Better than my Browning Buckmark

If you are going to buy a 1911 22lr, make sure you buy a colt. It has the best quality and more importantly, it is the most reliable when shooting cheap ammo (or probably any ammo). A friend of mine bought the Chiappa. It shoots very accurately but arguably has the worst problem feeding cheap ammo. I bought the GSG after reading very positive reviews about it from users who said all they needed to do was clean up the paint on the inside. Well I did that (and oiled it quite a bit) and I consider … Read More

Beautiful firearm for the price shoots exceptionally well out the box the finish is fantastic, the same feel as a standard 1911 and a threaded barrel on top of it!!!

great weapon! It has one problem that I have found, I have been searching for an extra magazine for a while now without success, Walther does not know when they will manufacture more magazines. Other than that the gun is prefect.

The trigger has a nice wall but the break is over 5.5 lb.Accuracy is not to bad. I like the ppq 22 better.

All the great ergonomics of a classic full-size 1911 with the low cost of .22 lr ammo. Very solid build quality from walther moonlighting as colt. only downside is that there's only 1 oem magazine included.

We really love this rail gun. I purchased the gun for my wife and son to shoot as they are new to the sport and needed something to learn on. The gun has performed flawlessly with bulk pack ammo. It has the look, feel and weight of a .45 cal pistol and it is a fun gun to shoot. I don't think the trigger is overly heavy. About right for beginners. Spare mags are now widely available. I thought my Glock 19 second gen would be easy for them, but they are much happier with the .22. … Read More

COLT 1911 A1

Have been looking at this 1911 A1 colt by WALTHER in .22lr for long time. Couldn't be happier. This is perfect weight and length. Absolutely no kick with 5" threaded barrel. 100% rounds expended. Using minis 99% if time. Mine is the rail model and I added the the red laser with dual spotlight option. Once the laser is dialed IN, the fun begins. No aiming just follow the laser and shoot. Also bought authentic walnut grips that really promote the COlt LOOK. The last finish was to pop the … Read More

This gun has a similar weight and feel of a real 1911. I will use this for fun and to train new and younger shooters.
