fun and amazing to use at the gun range. usually left in the box but is a beauty to bring out the box for a shoot around.

So much fun! Got it because I wanted an ar but can't afford to be shooting 556 or even 223 at the range. So quiet and no recoil hardly at all. I wouldn't say this is the most accurate gun, but that could be the super cheap 22lr ammo I'm putting through it. Either way, a blast to shoot.

GOT THIS A FEW WEEKS AGO just for Something to practice with that's cheaper to shoot than my ARs. HAVE RUN ROUGHLY 1000 ROUNDS THRU IT SO FAR AND have been VERY impressed WITH IT. iT HASN'T HAD ANY JAMS OR ISSUES WITH ALL THE VARIOUS AMMO TYPES i HAVE TRIED. it's VERY ACCURATE AND COMFORTABLE to shoot. aFTER SHOOTING THIS, 2 OF MY FRIENDS WENT OUT AND PURCHASED THEIR OWN, ITS THAT NICE.

Seems to jam alot. I tried different ammo and cleaned several times but still jams from 1 to 3 times in a single clip. I was really hoping for a little better shooting results for this one. I like the gun just the jaming gets old fast

Amazing rifle. The Hammerli 22 is light, easy, and fun to shoot. Great rifle to teach your kids how to shoot!

Super light, well put together, and actually kind of attractive for a 22. I personally wouldn’t order any other 22 for the price.

Fun to shoot, accurate and handles a lot of different ammo. Occasional stovepipe or fte but could be the ammo and to be expected from .22lr. Field strip is different than a typical AR. Only major complaint is the grip feels cheap, small and uncomfortable. Personally not a fan of the look of the stock either but it is extended length for tall peopl...Read More Read more about review stating Great .22

The rifle is outstanding. My decision was between this and the m&p 15-22. My choice hinged mostly on the fact that the 1522 is all poly, and feels like a squirt gun. The hammerli is all aluminum, and feels MUCH stouter in the hands. It shoots well, with no failures as of yet. However, the trigger is HORRIBLE, and is proprietary, so it can't be swapped out for a ar-15 trigger like the smith can. The pull is so hard I thought the safety was on and had to double check it. I'm having a gunsmith work on it, and we'll see if it can be improved. All in all however, I'm very happy with it.

I found everything to be a extremely high-quality, especially considering that I only paid around $350. The rifle was zeroed at 25 yards right out of the box. Both the upper and lower are made of aluminum, making it feel more like it's 223 and 5.56 big brothers. The rails are super nice too. Everything about the construction speaks to quality. The only thing that could have been better would have been if the iron sites were made out of metal instead of plastic. It's a great little rifle, and AR

It would be a 5 star rating had Hammerli manufactured the rifle with a solid barrel. It’s a shame the rifle has a paper thin barrel with a shield over it. I have no complaints with the functionality.

Do not think they make a better 22lr AR. Overall fit and finish top notch with that said all Walther products are among the best

This gun is sweet, ultimate plinker. Better load up on ammo you'll be running through some magazines with this

The Hammerli Tac R1 is one of the most underrated .22LR's on the market. I have owned this .22LR for about 1 year. The accuracy is incredible. The rifle is made with Aluminum and no polymer parts. The take down is easy and simple and cleaning is easy. These rifles are made in Germany by Walther, and IMPORTED into the USA under the Umarex branding. The rifle clearly states Hammerli which is a Swiss manufacturer of rifle barrels. If you can find one, I would highly recommend this .22LR is a

Got this AR due to the recent ammo shortage. Ok really didn't want to go through anymore expensive .223 so I got this one to pair with my Ruger SR22 for range time. The rifle is so much fun to shoot and very accurate to boot. For the price, you can't go wrong with this one.

Ordered on evening of 5;/31(holiday) and it arrived at my FFL on 6/3---that's fast. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but if it shoots as well as it looks---it will be a keeper. I'm pleased

I purchased this gun at a LGS, and do not regret it one bit. Have over 1500 rounds thru it with NO issues of stove piping, failure to fire, or failure to feed. Shoot 1200 fps+ 40 grain and no problems. I use this paired with a Vortex red dot for competition speed shooting twice a month. Zeroed at 25 yards and still flat out to 150yrds

Very fun and reliable 22 LR for the range…I have shot well over 500 rounds so far without any issues…Feels way for like an AR-15 than the M&P 22LR…With the price of ammo currently this allows me to be able to keep practicing without breaking the bank…

I am happy it is what I expected. Would be nice to have a small rail on the bottom for a fore grip. I think PSA offering this option at purchase would have been nice. I did not realize there was no rail on the bottom. Not a problem. It just would have been nice to get everything at one checkout. OR. Did PSA do that on purpose because they knew I would spend another $500 when I went to buy the $10 rail?

I recently purchased this rifle from PSA. As always the PSA folks were perfect, with fast delivery. Took it out of the box at the FFL then into range at same location. Fired 50 rounds of CCI Stinger with not a single problem. Loaded up another 10 rounds, and this time it misfed on the very first round. I've not been able to put another round through it. It has been cleaned and everything looks okay. Just can't shoot it. I am more than willing to upgrade this rating if by some chance I get it fixed. It is a great deal of fun when it does shoot, with pretty decent grouping at 25 yds.
