The .22 rimfire handgun will never look the same. The P22 changed everything. Walther adapted the tactical styling and Performance Design concepts from it’s centerfire handguns and applied them to the .22 L.R. This created a new movement in the design of contemporary rimfire handguns … and an explosion of imitators. As a stylish, fun gun to own, the P22 is at home on the shooting range, around the camp or in a museum of modern art.

I love this pistol! I have had so much fun shooting it. I shot a range P22 rental with my wife a few months ago we both had a blast and I started looking for one under $300 but had no luck. There are tons of bad reviews out there that had me a little scared too. When Palmetto dropped the thanksgiving sale price to $229 I just could not pass on it. I got a nice surprise finding two magazines in the nice carrying case. This is also the new and updated P22Q model that has several of the long

After putting 200 round thru (which isn't really enough to judge) I decided that the p22 is a more than decent handgun for learning how to shoot. Only 1ftf/fte but i blame it on junk ammo. Good quality gun.

Bought this for varmint shooting. Woodchucks are a big problem and when running farm equipment they are not afraid of the constant noise. I can drive almost on top of them and the pistol is easy to use to eliminate the problem critter. One thing I did notice CCI ammo works the best with no issues on cycling. I used Remington ammo with my rifle but after some research I found that Remington uses a grease in their ammo that leaves a residue after firing. CCI is a clean burn and no problems after switching brands.

Great firearm and my preferred host for .22 caliber suppressors. 900 rounds so far with now malfunctions or misdeeds with no cleaning. Various ammo from Federal, CCI blazer, Fiocchi, etc. Just pick up a few extra mags but these mags are a breeze to reload. Mine has a fiber optic front sight which gives a better sight picture during the daytime. Almost no felt recoil at all. 10 shots in nickels sized group at 10 feet from bench.

Fits very well in the hand worked very well right out of the box. No issues at all it is accurate and easy to shoot. I went through only 100 rounds and I am very pleased with this purchase.

Great price for a Walther product even if it is a 22lr. Awesome fit finish and ergonomics. The gun does prefer a hotter load but at the price we're getting 22lr ar these days who cares.

Pistol would not extract cases 80% of the time. I used high velocity CCI and Aguila ammo. Had to send it back to Walter for repair.

Great little gun, but has some issues cycling due to a manufacturers defect where the hammer interferes with the slideupon blowback. Shaving a tiny bit off the edge of the hammer fixes the issue though- its just a little annoying

If this is the same as the old P22 it is one of the best little 22’s I’ve ever owned. The only caveat I ever offer is that it does not shoot all brands of 22. Since it’s not a self defense gun that was never a concern for me. I shoot CCI 22 Mini Mags exclusively and have put 500-600 rounds through it between cleanings. One note, don’t lose the little tube for reassembly or you’l be fumbling with it.

I purchased my P22 4 months ago. I have found that it does need a hotter load to function. The best ammo I found is Winchester Super X (1435 FPS), CCI Velociter (1435 FPS) or CCI Stinger (1645 FPS). Mine came with a threaded barrel. It is really a fun gun to shoot and it is very accurate.

I bought mine in 2007 as a package deal with a YHM Mite suppressor and we have put well over 10k rounds thru it, it’s only been cleaned a few times (usually just put it in the sonic cleaner and wash it in the sink afterward in hot water then oil it up) . It’s very accurate and so much fun to shoot. I would highly recommend it to anyone that’s in the market for an all around good 22 pistol.

The best firearm I have for the price I paid. Slide lock, extra magazine, extra front sights, easy to shoot. Absolutely love this weapon

I bought this to carry in case of venomous snake encounters (my property has a pond and woods.) While I wouldn't choose it for pd edc, it's a good size for a snake pistol. The best part was PSA's terrific pricing.Shipped immediately and free!

Nice little 22 small and compact shot pretty well even though it’s a short barrel definitely worth the price

I recently purchased a P22 QD FDE. I liked it from the first shot, but quickly found that it would not cycle subsonic. But the web is rife with folks shooting subsonic out of it. So I followed some advice from someone with literally 1000X my experience (I was raised in a hunting society). With only 20 rounds through it, I cleaned and relubed the gun. I removed the recoil spring. I watched a movie while I cycled the slide 2-300 times. (Wear light work gloves.) I repeated that, and used a brush to
