Walther PDP 4.5" Full Size Optic Ready 9mm Pistol, Black – 2842475

Somewhat picky on ammo. It had issues cycling a certain brand of the 147 gr subsonic rounds. The pistol slide did not lock back after the last round and sometimes had problems ejecting the empties. It might be that it needs to break in. No problems using 115s or 124s. I think since it was designed as a duty weapon, it’s also meant to consume +P loads. That will make the recoil spring on the strong side.

Excellent pistol. Thought I might not like the shooting experience with the high bore axis, but the grip ergonomics keep it pretty darn flat.

Just buy it!!! Not a chance you will regret buying one! The PDP works with the Canik 18 and 20 round magazines.

Fantastic gun , excellent trigger and ergos. Fit / finish are top tier .put 300 rds through it with the Holosun red dot ????. Game changer . Would buy again

Fantastic textured grip that comes with three back strap choices. Good "striker" trigger. (It's not = 1911...sorry!) Utility rail makes it easy to add a light. Take-down to field strip is even easier than Glock. Magazines easily eject without binding. Mags are made in Italy (Mec-Gar I would guess). Large enough mag release button. Large enough slide stop/release which is in the perfect position for me. Sights are easy to replace with other Glock type sights. It's red-dot ready!

Great pistol. Very ergonomic, accurate, and well made. Threw on a swampfox justice and it’s nailing silhouettes at 50 yards all day long. The trigger on this is AMAZING. By far the best trigger Ive ever felt on a striker fired gun, even better than an HK VP9. Better than a lot of aftermarket triggers even. Aside from hammer fired or 1911-style handguns I’ve never felt a trigger this amazing. Absolutely love this gun

Amazing ergonomics and grip texture, the best out of the box striker fired trigger on the market, full size frame but extremely light overall, 18 Rd mag capacity, and optics ready. Honestly if I had felt this before I spent 1k on the fn 509 I would have chosen it instead of having to buy both.

As usual, Walther makes another fantastic handgun. Very accurate and reliable weapon. Love this gun, especially on the practice range. I own the 4.5" PDP.

The PDP is my first Walther. I casually looked it over for two years and I finally gave one a home. Watched as many reviews as I could and all were very positive and I tell you, the PDP is all as advertised. I’m not a great shot but the PDP rewards my fumbling efforts. This pistol just fits my hands very well. I decorated the PDP with the Holosun with the Vulcan reticle and a TLR 8AG and gently place it all in a C&G holster. Oh lastly, it’s just plain fun to shoot.

From the first shot to the # 200th shot , this gun has perform superb. I am actually surprised of how much fun it is to shoot this gun. It is my fist Walther, but it won’t be the last for sure. I am 100% satisfy with this gun. You can’t make the trigger any crispier even if you deep-fry it in lard, and there is no over-travel at all. The price is very affordable for the quality firearm that you get, and with an 18 rnd capacity magazine you are set. Did i mention that I am 100% satisfy with this gun? Oh yes I did, well just in case…

I bought the Full Size 4.5" with 18 mag and have put about 150 rounds in it with 115gr. range. No malfunctions. Recoil is like Glock 17 but with slightly more muzzle flip. The trigger is very light. Excellent fit for my larger than average hand - this is the best size. Superior checkering over Glock gen 3, maybe others. On the sale in the Chambersburg store, I disliked the ATF online form vs. the ATF paper form of my local store. If crowded, customers might see other's personal info on that

GREAT pistol. Accurate out of the box. We’ll built. Not a “cheap” pistol but worth the cost. Strongly built and a nice looking pistol. Comfortable to shoot with larger hands.

Finally got to take it to the range. It performed exactly how I was hoping. Straight out of the box, it shot super! I am very pleased!

This is a GR8 weapon. Holds 18 rounds, easy pull trigger, and accurate during rapid fire. GR8 feel in the hand. Added red dot laser/flashlight combo easily to bottom rail, making it so easy to group shots...????

It’s everything the reviews said it was. Great texture on the grips. The trigger is so much better than anything I have that I had to actually get used to it. It’s super fast and I’ve had zero issues even after hundreds of rounds of steel ammo.
