2 years agoI purchased the 4.5", full size PDP a few weeks ago and have shot several hundred rounds through it without a single misfeed, jam, etc. The trigger is smooth with a clearly discernable wall break and short reset, as you would expect from Walther. The grip is excellent. I added the Vortex Viper to the pistol. A sweet setup. The mounting plate took about 2 1/2 weeks to arrive from Walther.

2 years agoI purchased this gun about a week ago and after shooting over 200 rounds I can say it is one of the best handguns that I have. It shoots great and the trigger and hand grip is fantastic. I would recommend this handgun to anyone who is looking for a well made German center fired handgun.

2 years agoPhenomenal ergonomic grip, high accuracy, easy recoil recovery and perfect for range shooting and home defense. Not the best choice for conceal carry, since it is full size, although I guess you could. They thought of everything when designing this. Easy to operate. A lot of German-made quality packed into a pretty reasonable price. The PDP should be a lot more popular than it is. Nothing negative about it yet. I’m only left hoping there may be a compact version available to start a collection!

2 years agoI got to shoot this a few times after a friend picked one up. The first thing that struck me was how comfortable the grip was and how naturally it pointed. The sights, while small still afford a good deal of precision and the option for an optic without having to remove the rear sight is a welcome change. The slide serrations are aggressive and work well even when wearing gloves. This brings us to the trigger, I've been shooting for quite a while now and the PDPs trigger is a competitor for one of the best triggers I've ever felt. It even beats out some of my revolvers, the reset is positive and short allowing rapid follow up shots. Accuracy is phenomenal, even when taking rapid shots, the polygonal riffling mixed with the excellent trigger makes for great performance. I highly recommend this handgun for new and experienced shooters alike as its fairly forgiving and even the newest of shooters can get decent groups at ten yards. All in all, the walther PDP is a well rounded handgun that meets all the requirements i seek.

2 years agoI bought this pistol one month ago and it is my first gun, I couldn’t be happier with it, I ordered online and picked it up super fast and easy.

2 years agoI have never shot better!! The grip is great. For factory sights you can't ask for much more. I was shooting low, adjusted the rear sight and dead on. I love my P 365 but... I may leave her for this one!!

2 years agoThis is ther first pistol that I owned and it is easily one of my favorites that I have shot. It feels great in hand and is accurate as well. Highly recommend!

2 years agoThis pistol is well designed , well made and fits like a glove. It fires smoothly and the recoil was less than I imagined for a polymer pistol. The trigger is smooth and clean out of the box

2 years agoThe Walther PDP, 4 inch, Full Size is ideal for my EDC application. I enjoy the way the firearm fits into my hand. I am pleased with the design, quality and craftsmanship of the firearm.

2 years agoBought this gun cuz if the name and free optic offer. Gun shoots very good and trigger is amazingly smooth. Canik mags work as well so that's a plus. The optic offer, not so good. The optic itself is fine however none of the screws matched up to the originals. Plate and optic were good. None of the screws sent will work with the gun. Their diameter is to big and threading is also different than the original screws. Luckily, my Canik has multiple plates and screws to match so I just added it to my SFx. Walther customer service has ghosted me since delivery of the optic, which was recieved 3 days after gun purchase. Just beware of the screw debacle. The smallest screws are the original with the block plate

2 years agoExcellent trigger. You hear lots of reviewers say that it is snappy, but I don't really agree. It's a different recoil impulse than a 19x, but is very manageable. The ergos on hte PDP are amazing.

2 years agoI bought this gun yesterday. I was going back and forth between a Glock, Springfield Echelon and this. I am soooo happy with my decision. The grip angle is perfect for my hands. The trigger is phenomenal considering it is stock. Best out of the box trigger I've had on any handgun I've purchased. Ran 200 rounds through it yesterday and it is accurate and I love how the gun fall back on plane after every shot. Not sure I even need to put a red dot on it BUT i do not love the sights. Will probably change those out. Other than that, I am very happy I chose this gun.

2 years agoHad to send it back to Walther after 9 days. Never fired one shot. I put a red dot on it and when I tried to put the slide back on the frame it would not go back on. Sportsman warehouse sent it back and I’m still waiting for it to come back

2 years agoAWESOME WEAPON! It's a fine replacement for the PPQ! I have a PPQ Match 5" and probably right out of the box it was the best shooting gun ever..... until now. The PDP's grip is amazing and so comfortable. I took it to the range and shooting at a 3" target at 7 yards the PDP was accurate as could be . Full disclosure, my first shot was left 2 inches but second round was dead on! the rest was a nice group. no adjustments right outta the box. 5 STARS to Walther for a fine addition to their line up!

2 years agoSo far it’s been wonderful. Haven’t run 1000 rounds through it yet. Comfortable and accurate, can’t go wrong.

2 years agoI absolutely love this! It’s a bad B just like me! I love that so many of the parts are interchangeable with the PPQ. The redesigned slide has great grip and the trigger feels exactly the same to me as the PPQ. Getting the optic plates from Walther was also super simple! If you’re thinking about it, stop and just do it. Worth every penny!

2 years agoSo comfy, and fully ambidextrous (Sort of). The one item not immediately reversible is the magazine ejection button. You can switch the sides with tools, but you have to pick a side.
