1 year agoI've gone from a 4" ppq m2 to the compact PDP 5" and was amazed at the features. This is way more than just another PPQ M2 with a slight upgrade. Would highly recommend!

1 year agoOverall, a winner! a lot to love with the new pdp. we spoke, the engineers listened, walther produced - a pistol that has everything, including glock cut sights, great trigger (a bit better than ppq), deep cocking serrations, great grip texturing, great part interchangeability (uses all PPQ mags), and optics ready, too! my only beef (4 out of 5) - being an optics market, walther should provide a tighter tolerance cut for the slide to optic adapter plate interface. too much longitudinal slop and … Read More

1 year agoI can only critique the Walther pdp compact w/ 5" barrell based on aesthetics. It was made beautifully and functions great, when you TAKe into consideration that i've yet to fire 1 ROUND. But upon dry FIRing, one can feel how smoothly it functions. Can't wait to get it to the range and see what it can DO.

1 year agoThe PDP is a very welcome addition to my Walther collection. All of my PPQ magazines fit the "compact" PDP (which still feels like a full-size grip). All Glock sights fit the PDP. So I put in tall suppressor sights to co-witness with my red dot.

1 year agoI'VE HAD A PPQ FOR A WHILE, AND ITNS A GREAT FIREARM ALL AROUND. WITH THE NEW PDP, IT'S JUST EVERYTHUNG I WANTED AND MORE! HAVING IT COME OPTICS READY IS SUPER NICE AND CONVENIENT. I DROPPED A HOLOSUN 507C ON IT AND I'VE HAD ZERO PROBLEMS SO FAR. SO FAR I'D SAY THAF I'VE SHOT AT LEAST 500 ROUNDS AND HAVE HIT NO PROBLEMS. RED DOT IS ON SOLID WITH NO NEED TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS. THIS GUY SHOOTS STRAIGHT AND CONSISTENTLY. HAVEN'T HAD A CYCLING PROBLEM OR HICCUP. FINDING A HOLSTER FOR IT MIGHT BE A LITTLE HARD, BUT HAVING IT AT HOME FOR DEFENSE IS PERFECT.

1 year agoBest weapon on the market in my opinion competition ready, best trigger hands down. For those that do not know the “compact” is still the same size and previous generations the full size is huge. I prefer this sizing and my hands are large. 5 inch barrel to offer significant accuracy in a competition. The grip is like a hard rubber, very nice solid grip. Probably won’t be a better stock pistol for another 25 years. My only down mark is they are sold out of optic plates and I cannot mount my SRO.

1 year agoLOVE IT, ALONG WITH MY TWO 4” COMPACTS AND ONE FULL SIZE 4” MODEL…..SAME GREAT TRIGGER AND OVERALL QUALITY.

1 year agoThe only thing that I didn’t like about my pdp is that it came with a crack on the front tip of the polymer recoil spring. I already replaced it with a aftermarket metal one but good experience overall.

1 year agoThe walther pdp has the best trigger I've ever felt! I own a glock with an Apex trigger, and the pdp is smoother, and shorter in reset than the the Apex. The handgun is also more accurate than any cf- pistol I own,or have ever shot! It's my official, range queen.

1 year agoThis is a great gun, however it rattles darn near like an AK 47. To me it’s disappointing for a firearm to be this loud without shooting it. Don’t believe me take a fullsize PDP 5 inch and walk with it in holster or in hand, one shake and you hear the rattle.

1 year agoThis is a terrific shooting gun, great trigger, low recoil and very well built. I just wish it came with the plates as it took about 2 weeks to get it from Walther. I would highly recommend this gun to anyone.

1 year agoGreat shot. The trigger is great and very accurate. Paired it a Holosun HE507C Green Dot and love it.

1 year agoDid alot of research and YouTube before purchasing. Did it live up to most of the hype I watched? For me absolutely. Great ergonomics with one of the best factory triggers I've ever shot. I have Glocks and HK's with custom trigger work and this PDP trigger feels just as good. Nice medium take up and short reset. Very smooth feel to it. Definitely not like a factory Glock trigger. Similar to an HK VP9 trigger. Accuracy with this 5" barrel rivals my Glock 34 with Wilson combat barrel and my VP9

1 year agoAbsolutely perfect. There is nothing about this I don't like. It is accurate, easy to use and shoots anything I put through it with no failures. I have shot multiple grains and multiple types of 9mm through my PDP - from no-name (looked almost homemade) to top quality ammo. It took it all.

1 year agoI’m impressed with the quality and workmanship. Great feel and balance, the compact size is perfect for me (I wear size L gloves) but my hands aren’t huge. Trigger pull is as good as it gets, that and the grip were the primary reasons for purchase.
