Lightweight solid semi for the price.
Did not get a Weatherby sticker in box so I cannot give it a 5 starts because of that.

I bought this gun because my Mossberg semi auto took a serious beating in the Wyoming goose season. You get what you pay for! Although I haven't gotten to use my Weatherby for that yet, I have been shooting Asian doves in the back yard. Many reviews state this gun can jam if the 2 & 3/4 don't have enough powder in them. I haven't had that problem. Also, it is an inertia driven system which can lead to more kick. I feel as if the gun has less kick than my Mossberg. The plug is able to be taken out without taking the gun apart. I have never seen that before. Also, the gun comes with five different choke tubes. So, you just need to put a sling on it, load the shells and off you go. It is about half the price of a Browning with the same quality.

I bought the Weatherby 18i Waterfowler for dove & waterfowl hunting. I mostly hunt upland birds. Shotgun performs well with 2-3/4in shell, 1-1/8oz, size 6 & 7-1/2 steel shot for doves. Worked amazing while duck hunting numerous times at the public refuges. I love having up to 3.5in for more variety in ammo selection for all upland/waterfowl hunting. Came with 5 chokes. So far I’m overall pleased with the reliability, weight, durability, and look of this shotgun.
