2 years agoThis is a wonderful light-weight, great shooting, gun. The accubrake is amazing in taming the recoil of the 300 WBY Mag. Accuracy is great once you find the gun's preferred ammo. I am very happy with my purchase

2 years agoMy rifle is chambered in 338 Lapua and uses a handloaded 300 grain Berger Elite Hunter bullet and produces consistent half MOA, 9 shot groups at 2840 FPS with a standard velocity of 7.0 fps. Load development was easy as many loads were fast and accurate with no pressure signs. The break in period for accuracy was almost zero, and the velocity jumped 35 FPS around 150 rounds, which is very typical for new barrels, but the velocity SD held. The amount of free bore is less than other Weatherby

2 years agoThis is by far the best bolt action rifle I’ve ever purchased. If your looking for accuracy and power with the best quality of rifle, this is it hands down. I’d recommend this rifle a thousands times over!

2 years agoAbsolutely love it! Mounted the 257 Mark V Pro Weatherby with a Leupold Mark 4 4.5x14x50mm scope. Used with Berger 115 grain VLD hunting bullets, Weatherby brass & H1000 powder. Bullets are going into the same hole @ 100 yards. Was originally going to buy the standard Mark V but left handed version was unavailable. The Mark V® Accumark Pro (LH) was the only available option at this time, glad I spent the extra money. Weatherby does such amazing work and has great quality it is worth spending the money.

2 years agoI have my 300 wby mounted with a vortex razor 3-15x44mm, and the gun has preformed beautifully this hunting season. I live in Montana and was lucky enough to draw an antelope tag this season, dropped an antelope 15 minutes into the first day at 350 yards. Second day of rifle I got a Bull at 150 yards, the elk didn’t take a step after getting hit. Now y’all might be thinking that dropping these animals at those ranges isn’t anything to right home about, so I’ve got one last example to show case
