Before composite stocks, brushed stainless steel barrels, and Cerakote finishes every Weatherby Mark V that fell into the hands of lucky hunters was rich walnut and blue steel. The Deluxe pays homage to those days of traditional craftsmanship for hunters who still marvel at classic styling. Complete with regal diamond-point checkering, a rosewood forend and grip cap, maple spacers and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad.
Features:
- Guaranteed SUB-MOA accuracy – all Mark V rifles are guaranteed to shoot a 3-shot group of 0.99 inches or less at 100 yd (SUB-MOA) from a cold barrel when used with Weatherby factory or premium ammunition
- TriggerTech’s trigger provides true zero-creep break, extremely short over-travel, and is externally adjustable
- 54-degree bolt – the shortest in the industry (as compared to typical 90 bolt throw), allows for faster chambering on follow-up shots and greater bolt-to-scope clearance
- 26 inches, #2 contour barrel

1 year agoBought my MKV Deluxe chambered in 416 Wby mag. It is another one of Weatherbys finest pieces of art. This rifle shoots very consistently at 100 yards and with the accubrake installed the recoil is very manageable, about the same felt recoil as their 300 wby mag without the brake. Overall this rifle is Beautiful Accurate And Manageable Nothing shoots faster, flatter, and hits harder than a Weatherby.

1 year agoHave the 240 magnum; absolutely gorgeous. Has a one piece Leopold long single piece scope mount with a Leopold 3x9x40 variable scope; and am very pleased. Very very accurate and well worth the price tag. Best rifle I have ever owned.

1 year agoI have the good fortune of owning several Weatherby rifles and I must say: “These gun are for life, and they shall be past on to generations in your family”. Every modern gun manufacturer today, have in their arsenal the good, the better, and the best. In Weatherby, all categories are the best. The beauty of these guns runs parallel to their consistent accuracy and flatter trajectory they are known for. A friend came to visit and said: “These guns belong in a high end furniture store and not in

1 year agoI have used Weatherby rifles since 1983. My father used his till he passed German Mark V 300. As I am a left handed shooter I have three Mark V in 300, 340 and 7 mm. Best rifles I own and a pleasure to look at as well as shoot.

1 year agoI love my Weatherby Mark V Deluxe in 300 Weatherby Magnum. It is by far the most beautiful rifle ever made. Nothing shoots flatter and hits harder than a Weatherby.

1 year agoWeatherby Mark V Deluxe 7mm is what I Own and will be Pryed for my Cold Dead Hands…..It is Clearly the “Gold Standard” in American Arms Manufacturing ! My Father introduced me to this Culture when I was only 7, (1958) along with my Brother and Sister. Dad owned a Weatherby 270 and enjoyed it until he Passed in 2004. Memories are Long Lasting!

1 year agoI bought my first Weatherby back in !987. A Vanguard VGS REM 22-250. Was tired of leaving groundhogs alive and well past 200 yards. This rifle took care of that problem. Always wanted a large calibur and of course looked at Weatherby. Customized a Lazermark 340 magnum to my likings. Most awesome weapon to shoot. Accubrake cuts felt recoil down to very manageable. Now getting a wild hair you know where. As for another work of art and family heirloom, I think a 460 Magnum Mark V sounds fun. My

1 year agoI bought a mark V in 340 Weatherby for a brown bear hunt in Alaska. With no brake it was a pleasure to shoot. When sighting it in a buddy had a Rem 700 in 7mm and I compared the recoil between them and I was shocked how little the 340 kicked compared to the 7mm. You can’t go wrong with a Mark V in any caliber!

1 year agoI am using the 300 today that my father bought in 1958. It is as accurate now as when he first shot it. He used it from the plains of Wyoming to the mountains of Idaho, Alaska, Africa. Yes, it has signs of normal wear, of being in a rifle sheath on horseback but all of that just gives it character.

1 year agoI’ve always had a passion for beautiful classic rifles. After years I finally special ordered a Mark V deluxe in 30.06. The gun is totally gorgeous and it’s best attribute of all is accuracy. I consistently shoot 3 shot groups measuring an inch or less at 200 yds. Cloverleafs at 100. It shoots every brand well I got the gun in 19 and finally took it on an elk hunt to bc this year. The zero held to perfection regardless of the high altitudes. I couldn’t be more pleased with this beautiful well balanced product from weatherby. My only regret is I didn’t have one earlier in life.

1 year agoBought my first Mark V 300 Wby Mag when I was 19. I’m 62 now and still have it along with 2 Accumarks -257 & 338-378. I’ve always loved Weatherby rifles, the elegant stock, the balance and the blueing. Great shooters and that 300 with a 24” bbl is a fire breather. I prefer 26” bbl even though that fire coming out of that barrel was impressive to a 19 yr old kid! Weatherby will always rank #1 with this old man!

1 year agoI own a plethora of J.P. Sauer manufactured Weatherby Mark V’s. My father started a passion with me when I was a child, and that passion remains to this day. All of my rifles- sorry to say- have been mainly safe queens, even though a few of them (the .257, .270, 7mm, and .300) have gone- minimally, I should state- on the hunt. The .460 Custom is a beautiful piece, having been bought as just a big and beautiful toy. The .224 is a remarkable and gorgeous little rifle, exhibiting a quality of wood

1 year agoI bought a Mark V .257 in 1987 and a Mark V .340 in 1999. I hand my ammo and can say you can drive tacks with these beautiful rifles. They are a pleasure to shoot including the .340 which I describe as more of a push than a hammer like a 30.06 gives you. I’m 77 years young and still love pulling the trigger on these rifles.

1 year agoThe Mark V Deluxe is the original and the ones made today are the best yet. Weatherby: Do you see what that action looks like? THAT’S what a Mark V action is supposed to look like! It doesn’t need the “jump on the fluted bandwagen” spiral bolt flutes–the action doesn’t need help in smoothness. The Mark V isn’t supposed to be a cookie cutter rifle but with the exception of the Deluxe you are doing your best to make it one!

1 year agoI procured my first Weatherby MarkV Deluxe chambered for the 6.5 Creedmoor. I wanted a caliber that was easy on my shoulder & fun to shoot. Upon receiving my Weatherby, I inspected & scrutinized it in minute detail…from muzzle to recoil pad. The fit, form & function of this Weatherby MarkV Deluxe was flawless from the deep blue metal finish to the fit of all metal to wood. The walnut stock in its form & finish is impeccable…I could not find or detect any flaws in wood or metal. The bolt action

1 year agoI procured my Weatherby MarkV Deluxe chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor in 2020. I chose the MarkV Deluxe because I am ‘old school’ favoring rifles made of fine exhibition wood & blued steel…I tend to dislike the new plastic configuration of today’s rifle trends. Upon inspection of my MarkV Deluxe from muzzle to recoil pad…I could not detect any flaws at all. The deeply blued steel on the MarkV Deluxe is manufactured to perfection with no tooling marks…all metal is polished & finished to perfection. The

1 year agoI have shot Weatherby rifles for numerous years now and I now own eight different calibers which include a Wby. 22, Wby.Mark V 22:250, Wby.Mark V .240 Magnum, Wby. Mark V .243, Wby. Mark V .257 Magnum, Wby. Mark V .270 Winchester, Wby. Mark V .270 Magnum Lazermark and a Wby. Mark V 7mm.Magmun. All of these guns will shoot a sub 1 inch group using my reloads with Sierra Boat tail bullets. The .240 Magnum is my favorite of all. This gun will shoot almost bullet hole for bullet hole. Needless to say, I am a firm believer in Weatherby rifles and I wouldn’t even consider buying another brand

1 year agoI have always been a Weatherby fan. Started collecting Weatherbys some twenty years ago and now own a very beautiful collection. Starting with the 22 long rifle, 240, 257, 6.5 x 300, 6.5 PRC, 270, 7mm, 300, 30-378, 340, and 338-378. I have taken everything from squirrel to Elk with my Weatherby Mark V rifles and can tell you that they are the best. I have on order another 257 Deluxe that should be here soon. Can’t wait to see it in all of its glory and beauty. This will make two 257’s in my
