2 years agoJust shot my first perfect round of skeet with this gun. Never had any issues with this gun. It just keeps cranking out shells couldn’t be happier.

2 years agoI got this when i was 10 and it has shot every time I’ve killed 1 goose,15 dove, and a turkey but over all it is just a great gun

1 year agoI am so pleased with this gun that I had to write another review about it. I have a 20ga 26″ synthetic SA-08. I am using it on 6-18 mile hikes across the mountains in SE Alaska to hunt Grouse and Ptarmigan. It is light and reliable. I’ve taken some bad falls and never had a misfire or accidental discharge. It also holds six shells…very important this year when a bear came after me… I load 3 slugs in first then hunt with three 7.5’s on top. You will probably never need them but the confidence

1 year agoThis is the second year I have used my SA-08. The price was excellent and I just love this gun. It is light and easy to swing when waterfowl hunting. It is also very easy to take apart and clean. This shotgun has yet to fail even in extreme weather conditions. I would highly recommend this shotgun.

1 year agoI just purchased my 3rd SA-08, I hunt ducks Late October- November in the north Midwest Snow 20degrees The guns performed very well. I bought the second because Im sure I wore the first one out I bought another for a back up gun. I noticed the 2nd was made in Italy the 3rd Turkey I didn’t see any identification on the choke tubes or in the manual, till I pulled out the old manual and counted the notches

1 year agoI bought one SA-08 for my wife. 20 ga. Wife has MS, the browning BPS, and Citoris’ were just too much recoil. I took her to the firearms shop, had her lift and swing every 20 ga. in stock. The SA-08 compact seemed to fit well. The short length of pull works very well with all the clothing she wears when we are turkey hunting. I took the 20 ga. goose hunting (snows and canadas’) and found it to be amazingingly good [with the new ammo offerings]. We then discovered the SA-549 Turkey gun, I got her

1 year agoWhat is not to like. It is accurate, reliable, solid, light, fires every time. It is easy to swing. Comes with three chokes. I have owned mine for about 5 years and take it skeet shooting mainly. Fires more reliably than most of the other, more expensive guns on the range. I know that Turkish made guns are not necessarily the best but look at the Internet and read the reviews on this gun. It is a very, very nice firearm.

1 year agoI bought this for my daughter last year. She has shot over 500 rounds thru it while skeet shooting and duck hunting. No jams, no problems. Now I’m looking for one for myself, to turkey hunt with. Much easier to carry than a full size 12 gauge. Simply an outstanding shotgun.

1 year agoThis is my first auto loader shotgun. I don't have a big budget so I wanted to get something affordable yet reliable and of decent quality. I did A LOT of research before the purchase and everything I read is true. Give it a good cleaning, select the proper gas piston and go shooting. First time at the the clays range 100+ target loads fired, not a single issue. Ran like a sewing machine. Mounts wonderful and swings great. I bought the 20ga. 26". Love this scatter gun! Looking to get the compact model for the wife now!

1 year agoI bought this one for my son several years ago primarily for sporting clays and pheasant hunting. We’ve done an awful lot of both since then and the gun has always functioned flawlessly. Great product as far as I’m concerned. He’s outgrown it now and we’re shopping for an extended stock to keep it in action a few more years.

1 year agoJust took this gun out for the first time shooting sporting clays. Using light load piston : Started with 25x 1oz – 1350fps Winchester, then dropped to 12x 1oz- 1290fps Remington , then dropped to 13 x1 oz – 1200Fps Remington shells. Not a single problem. Love it. Hope it continues to perform.

1 year agoYou cannot buy a better semiautomatic shotgun for this price. I've had it for over a year and haven't had a single issue.

1 year agoI bought the compact model for each of my two sons. They have shot many rounds of trap, skeet, and 5-stand with them. They have also taken everything from dove and rabbits to turkeys with them. When the compact stocks were too small for them I purchased adult stocks from Weatherby. What an awesome shotgun this is. With the adult stock and 24" barrel it is light and quick to swing. When my oldest son turned 15 he decided to try 3-gun. Of course he wanted a new shotgun for this endeavor, but

1 year agoI bought a used syn. SA-08 w the short barrel 3 yrs, ago for cheap w only the light valve and none of the shims for the stock. It was scuffed/scratched a bit but the action was stiff and tight and the chrome barrel was like a mirror.I cleaned it up and shot some clays before Dove season. I added a slip on adjustable butt pad for some more length of pull. When I went hunting I was very impressed w this shotgun. The light weight, the soft recoil, the mounting and swing were perfect and I was nailing the doves. I got the heavy valve and now it’s my favorite shotgun for dove/ducks and rabbits.

1 year agoI found one in camo with a 28″ barrel. A guy won it at a Ducks Unlimited banquet and never shot it. I bought it for a good price and used it this past duck season and for a few rounds of skeet. It has been flawless! I put a gasket in to reduce the drop, and it is now perfect for me. It’s light and still doesn’t have much recoil. I really like this gun.

1 year agoI bought one of these for my 10 year old. Ended up buying two more for my other boys, for when they get a couple years older. A firearms are so expensive now, long are the days where you can get an 870 for $200. The fit and finish of the shotgun is very nice, and what you would expect for the price. The weight and balance of the shotgun is very nice in hand. The shotgun cycles through just fine, and we have not experienced any issues yet. Compared to a full size, my son is in a

1 year agoHad a minor issue with gun not cycling. Tried both the low and high sleeves. Changed ammo from 7/8 ounce to 1 ounce load and everything worked great.

1 year agoOverall great gun. 0 issues with target rounds and light recoil for my daughters. Not as nice as my beretta a300, but awesome 1st hunt for kids and women. Also pattens well, modified chock for skeet.
