While other rifles may talk the talk, this one would prefer to walk the walk. For example, there are guns that tout being SUB-MOA, but this one will guarantee it from its venerable Vanguard action, hammer-forged barrel and match-grade trigger. Someone might expect to pay dearly for a guarantee like that, but we’re proud to say that this is the best value at Weatherby for that degree of accuracy. When taking the Vanguard Synthetic hunting, don’t think this one have has to be babied because of the precision. The Vanguard Synthetic, with a Griptonite stock and all surfaces is designed to repel the harshest conditions.

1 year agoThis rifle has impressed me in every area. I was quite inquisitive about how the "Weatherby quality" could be fit into a sub-$500 rifle. I still don't know how they did it, but they did. Bolt is solid and tight fit, the rifle feels perfect in my hands and the most important part, it shoots great! What a Rifle!!!!

1 year agoMy wife bought me this rifle for Christmas and it is a tack driver. The accuracy is in amazing for this price point. I have shot rifles that cost well over $1000 that did not shoot this well.

1 year agoThere's not much to say about this rifle, other than It's a weatherby. it shows the level of quality fit and finish that you would expect from that company. The only special note is that the new 2 stage trigger is excellent! All I need now is an assortment of ammo to try out.
