Long Beard XR has the knockdown power of popular heavier-than-lead loads at a fraction of the cost. It features Shot-Lok Technology that protects the shot during in-bore acceleration, eliminating air space around the pellets and preventing movement for virtually no pellet deformation. It spreads twice the number of pellets in a 10 inches circle out to 60 yd with 10% greater penetration over standard lead loads beyond 50 yd.

1 year agoGreat shells for turkey. Paired with the Carlsons Longbeard XR choke tube make for a deadly combo on turkeys out to 62 yards is my longest confirmed kill with the 3” shell. .650” choke with tye 3.5” Longbeard XR shells can really reach out and touch the birds.

1 year agoWe have taken several turkeys with this load. They are absolutely fantastic, especially when paired with the right choke. Devastating.

1 year agoShot this out of my Benelli SBE with .650 Carlson turkey choke. 104 pellets in head and neck at 30 yards. 3.5" number 5 shot."

1 year agoJust patterned my Benelli using the 3" 5 shot and was getting consistent 40+ pellets in the head and neck at 40 yards. Went out to 50 and still getting 30+ pellets in the head and neck at 50 yards. I did test 3 other loads and none were even close."

1 year agoMy brother and I have bagged turkeys from 25-70 yards away. Most of my shots have been 35+ yards away and make clean kills with my Kick's choke attached to my Remington 870 Super Mag 12 gauge pump. I shoot #5s in 3 1/2 inch shells. These Long Beards are a game changer in turkey hunting.

1 year agoI pattern my gun out to 50yds and at 50yds pattern is more than enough to down a turkey plus I can use a 3in instead of having to use a 3 1/2in which cuts down on recoil.
