1 year agoI use it for hunting wild boar with a beretta shotgun (a300 series - stantard full choke barrel) with great results! One day with one shot i killed a boar 100kg at 30m distance and the temperature was -15C! Great patterns also with Browning Auto5 full choke, benelli m2 full choke and benelli monte full choke!

1 year agoBeen shooting these for years back when they were named Supremes. They hit hard and have yet to let me down. Out of my Franchi Affinity with a .650 Carlsons choke I get excellent patterns out to 50 yards. I prefer these over Long Beard XR as the Long Beards are too tight up close for me. As always, pattern your gun, call em close, and introduce someone new to the sport.

1 year agoOne shot, one kill, dead in it’s tracks. Shot a doe at 138 yards. Verified distance with range finder. Only one pellet hit in the kill zone. 30” improved cylinder. Found my gun patterns better with open choke tube. I love this buckshot.

1 year agoBest round for deer and big game patterns tight has penetrating power. The extra velocity allows for less of a lead.

1 year agoThese 20 gauge turkey rounds have kick on both ends! They are above-moderate recoil, but manageable and pattern well at 30 yards. On the receiving end, a 27 lb gobbler took the fatal blow two years ago, which is why I went back to Sportsmenswarehouse and bought this box.

1 year agoThe 12 ga 3” 2oz of #6 shot is a turkey getter every time. I have taken many big gobblers with this ammo over the years. Great performance at a reasonable price.

1 year agoBeen using the Win. Double X 3" #5's for end of barrel to 35 yards in timber hunting out of my Kicks Gobblin Thunder .680 with excellent even hunting patterns. Not too tight up close but excellent to 40 yards. Always consistent patterns.

1 year agoThe XX 3 in 2 oz 5 shot is the best overall turkey load out there. I use a kicks .660 choke with this ammo and have taken many gobblers with it. Winchester, please don't discontinue this ammo and please start pumping it out again. Longbeard and TSS are great but they are basically like a slug at close range and you will miss gobblers unless you are aiming like a laser. I keep those loads with me, but I only put a LB or TSS in if I anticipate a long shot. 50 yards in, the 2 oz 5 XX will kill them

1 year agoBest patterning load for the price. It's extremely effective at reasonable distances with maximum knock down power!

1 year agoThe Winchester Double X is a great shell for my Mossberg 835, using the 3.5 #6's been shooting them for years. The performance is awesome with a Carlson's .675 turkey choke. I tried many other manufacturers and chokes and spent alot of money and time finding what produced the best patterns to 45 yds that is my max to dispatch a bird cleanly.

1 year agoThese are a awesome load. Both my grandsons used this load to kill their very first turkey. I would highly recommend this load.
