Much better than other famous brand red polymer tipped bullet. That one blows up on bone into fragments for inhumane kill and ruined meat. The Winchester holds up for good controlled penetration and holds up well through bone.
For big Canadian white tails and moose at moderate range or heavy bush a great round. Better priced, consistent loading, high quality components and superior practical performance. No gimmicks. Just great engineering.
As a plus, the nickel plated cases stay clean and run slick through the action.

I have used this round and know I am hooked on it. My only problem is I can't find any rounds this year, good thing I stocked up last year. I use this round in my 30-06, 308, and in my 270 and have taken plenty of deer with each. Good penetrations' and knock down power, it leaves a nice exit hole.

My rifle guaranteed to shoot 1/2 moa. These placed 1/2 inch groups at 100 yd zero (300 WSM w/ 150 grain ballistic silver tips.) Terminal performance on game is outstanding. Furthest I have shot a deer with this ammo is a little over 300 yds. Highly recommend this on any North American species of deer.

My family has used BSTs in 270 Win, 280 Rem, 7-08 Rem, and 30-06 for 15 years. We live in Alberta and hunt WTD and Mule Deer. We only hunt bucks. We've harvested many deer. 100% have dropped. In all those years and all those deer we've never had to track one. Not one. We typically find the core just under the opposite hide. Distances have ranged from 60 yds to 427 yds. Also group very well in all of our rifles, often in the 3/8 to half inch range. I highly recommend Win BST.

Honestly really surprised about this particular brand and set up. My favorite box ammo to shoot out of my built .308 and I can't find it anywhere

I went to the range today and shot exactly 12 rounds of this stuff to sight in a rifle. I started out about 2" right and got it dialed right on-the-money. Then pasted my "hole" up and made adjustments to my scope. I went back downrange and shot a 5-shot group that was all touching and was 1/2" spread combined! I even let the RSO at the range shoot several shots downrange and he grouped in the same "hole". I am so impressed with the performance of this ammo, I will never shoot anything else through my bolt-action ever again.
Thank you,
Nick L. from Apex, North Carolina

Every time I pull the trigger, I don’t even have to track!
These hit so hard that they drop a deer every time!
I have had the same box of 308 ballistic tips for nearly 20 years, now I have to find more. That will be the hard part.

Accurate, dependable and deadly efficient. The performance of this ammo is the best I have experienced in all my years of shooting and I just wish that it had been manufactured earlier than it was.

I’ve hunted with these bullets exclusively for 10 years now. They have incredible long range accuracy and knock down power. I’ve harvested several deer and a few elk with the 150gr bullets and my Winchester model 70 7mm mag.

If you are looking for the best ammunition for a quick clean kill on deer, look no further. I have never had a deer take more than 2 steps when harvested with a 270 Win 130 grain Ballistic Silvertip.

My family has used this ammo for well over 20 years. Terminal preformance on all game from moose down to antelope. No better shell on the market whether custom or otherwise.

I started using the 7mm rem mag 150 grain ballistic silvertip about 8 years ago. I’ve taken 6 bucks, 1 350 lb wild boar, and a 5x4 bull elk with this specific round. All were taken with one well placed shot to the vitals and every animal dropped in its tracks! The distances ranged from 60 yards to 420 yards for the elk. Obviously, a well placed shot was instrumental, but this is great performance! Full disclosure, previously I’ve used a larger caliber for elk with monolithic solid copper bullets but I won’t hesitate to use this ballistic silvertip on elk again!

My gun by far loves this ammo over everything. I shoot a 270 and at 200yds I maybe had a 1/4” moa. On 2 separate occasions my 3 rounds all touched.
4 yrs ago 1 shot 1 deer
3 yrs ago 1 shot 1 deer
2 yrs ago 1 shot 1 deer
1 yr ago 2 shots 1 deer
This year 2 shots 1 deer 1 coyote

I live and hunt in southeast Alaska. I have used this round to take down everything from wolves, black bear and have taken over 20 sitka black tailed deer with this round. wonderful performance. I really like the fact that the shell casing wont corrode being that I end up hunting in the rain a lot. the only drawback i've found is that the round won't penetrate through a large black bears shoulder. although I don't think other 270win could either. I use this round in my 270win, 30-06spring, and 243win

If you know how to hit what you're aiming at, this round will do the rest. I have been hunting with it out of my Weatherby 30-06 for years and I've only had one deer take a step after the shot, and that was all she took was on leap and was dead before she hit the ground. This is very accurate and very devastating ammunition. The only people I would not recommend this ammo to are the ones that want to improve their blood tracking skills. If you can shoot well with this ammo, you will hardly ever have to track your game.

Excellent product very consistent performance. But where is this ammo 30.06 150 grain BST it’s been more than two years since I been able to purchase. I am down to four rounds.

This is designated as 243 win varmint ammo. So far to date both myself, my wife and my hunting buddy have harvested over a dozen elk with this 55gr bullet. Mostly head and lung shots. Over half never moved or jumped! They didn't know they had been hit until they tipped over! The rest dropped within 30 yards except for one that went about 100 yards. This one was ranged at 340 yards the bullet completely destroyed its left shoulder socket. I know what all the big magnum rifle shooters will say

These are my favorite bullet. The only bad thing is I have not been able to buy a box in 3 years. These are my primary whitetail killers. Please help a girl out. I am about out and hanging on to what I have. I use lesser quality bullets for target practice. These I use to kill my deer.

I can't always travel the three hours to reload so I tried these. The ballistic Silvertip rounds shoot almost identical to my handloads out to about 550 yards. The only issue I have with them is that no one has any in stock.
