1 year agoTook me a year to finally find and purchase a Winchester 6.8 western rifle from Sportsman’s. During that time I was buying 6.8 western ammo wherever I could find it. I have boxes of every ammo Winchester and Browning makes. The only type I didn’t have was the Ballistic Silver Tips. I’ve used them for years in my 300 win mag and really like them. The only reason I give it 4 stars is the price. I’ve never spent $70+ for a box of any ammo.

1 year agoOnly bullets I have shot for 20 years. Ballistic silvertips are the best factory ammo money can buy in my opinion. Alas it seems Winchester has had issues with supplying these cartridges and are pushing the Winchester XP Deer Seaon instead. I was happy to finally see the 6.8 western in stock. Price is a little steep but that’s to be expected in 2022 when everyone is price gouging and 2 separate companies are involved. Nosler and Winchester

1 year agoEasy purchase and free shipped to store! I ordered ammo twice from Sportsman online and both times it was easy and priced reasonable.

1 year agoThey have been pretty consistent through my rifle so far. Hope to try them on deer and elk soon. My only complaint is the cost. Also these were the only cartridges that I could find in 6.8 Western.
