1 year agoThey are undoubtedly good shells. I rated them as a 4 instead of a 5 because the speed is s-l-o-w. That’s a shame. If we could get the speed up to 1075-1100 they’d be perfect. At this speed (under 1000 fps) you definitely have to adjust your lead for crossing and quartering targets.

1 year agothe ONLY shells to use in old shotguns. I use them in my orig. Winchester 1887 lever action 12 gauge, and my 1889 Marlin pump (chambers have been relieved to accommodate 2 3/4" shells). Never a problem, sure fire, great for target and smaller game birds birds.

1 year agoThis is about the only venue where these shot shells are available and these are the only factory loaded shot shells my wife can shoot comfortably. Thanks to Sportsman's for carrying this hard to find product.
