1 year agoNot sure how these work for pheasants, but I know they are Thor's Hammer on turkeys! I shoot these in a Remington 870 through a Primos Tight Wad .660" Turkey Choke and have killed a bunch of gobblers with them! I also use the Long Beard XR's, and these are about the same price per box but you get 15 shells per box instead of 10. I have killed turkeys at 45 and 50 yards with these with ease. I like the fact that they offer higher velocity (1300 FPS) over the Long Beard XR. At 40 yards, I am still

1 year agoI'll take a close shot over a long one any day. But once the snow fly's and the birds are more likely to jump at farther distances this Rooster XR is the product you need. This product hits hard well past 40yds. Best Pheasant load I've ever shot.

1 year agoExcellent shell for knocking out Roosters. In my opinion, the best shell on the market right now. Like it claims, they can reach out and smack those late season long tails.
