Time proven, dependability. Since 1922, Winchester Super-X ammunition has provided exceptional quality and outstanding performance. For decades, hunters and shooters have relied on Winchester Super-X handgun ammunition. Best known for time-proven dependability, the rounds offered include a hollow point and lead core for rapid expansion on game, as well as a thin-wall jacket, which reduces engraving forces for improved accuracy.

I set up 2 ARs in 350 Legend for friends, one a CMMG, and the other a HM. We tried 4 different types of ammo, and these were by far the best. Both were shooting sub 1" groups at 130 yds. My friends both took their kids out for youth deer season and both got deer. One was a 175yd shot, dropped it where it stood.

I’m using a Browning A-bolt II chambered in 300 Win Mag. I chose the Winchester Power Point 180 gr due to its superb accuracy in this rifle. It shoots dime size 3 shot patterns at 100 yards. I have taken countless Elk and Mule Deer with this round and it’s never let me down! It’s bullet performance has proved to be a one shot one kill round on elk... I highly recommend this ammo and one of the big reasons I chose this round was it’s accuracy! It beat out other brands hands down as I believe if

I shoot a ruger American 308 with a Nikon pro staff 4×12×40 scope. 2 weeks ago I was hunting saw a hog off in the distance I wasn't sure of how far out it was I lined up the shot and shot hitting the hog exactly where I was aiming later on my buddy and I figured out how far that shot was 537yards I will always use this ammo

Just paced off one coyote shot today. 618 paces and another coyote had an extremely bad day! I typically shoot under 300 yds but this was an old deer killer in our backyard. My favorite is how quickly it can drop a deer. Almost every year it takes one out with one shot and dead. Even on running shots, very lethal and a bloodbath to follow tracking the short distance to the deer. This is on Northern Canadian Trophy bucks weighing 300 lbs plus.

I own four .270 Winchester rifles, three bolt guns and one semi-auto. The bolt gun with a "XX" air gauged Douglas barrel will routinely hold .6 MOA with this stuff, and the other three at 1 MOA or less. None of the many Deer, I have killed, ever required a second shot, nor took a single step, and went down immediately. My expertise stems from my time as a Delta Force Sniper, Sniper ATL, Sniper TL, and Unit Sniper SME. I have literally experimented with or fired every type of ammunition at one time or another, and nothing is more effective than your Power-Points.

Hunting down under in Australian. Using 180 grain super x power point in a Ruger Gunsite Scout. Accurate, reliable with brutal knockdown power on Wild Goats, Wild Hogs, Large Roo's, Wild Camels and Scrub Bull's (aka Wild Oxen).

Have a 270 Win and couldn’t get any Super X after many years of using it; so I bought some Hornady. I could not get a grouping like I can with Super X at all. That stated, if you can’t get it , what good is it. Only complaint is to make more!

Shoots very accurate from my 300 WM with 180 gr Power Points, with great penetration on elk; its my go to cartridge for criters of that size.

Super X .308 150gr When I bought my rifle I wanted 180gr, but could only find the 150gr. I have not been disappointed, have shot 4 deer and 3 dropped where they were standing, the other ran about 25 yards.

Shot a Whitetail buck at 40 yards. Downhill shot, struck neck and broke a vertebrae. The bullet continued downward, crossed the chest and passed through the far (right) shoulder blade. I found the bullet where it stopped under the hide, bulging it out. That buck dropped in his tracks and never even wiggled. I handload but when it comes to .44 carbine hunting this load is my first choice. This gets it done right.

I’ve found these ammunition for my original Springfield Trapdoor 1884 and shot great with no difficulties. For those having issues on ammunition for 45-70 trapdoor this ammunition is definitely safe to use as long as the bore is good and mechanically works. Definitely will use this product again for my trapdoor, but Winchester needs to be updating if this ammunition is still in production or discontinued because it’s becoming frustrating for ammunition to not be available.

The 80 grain soft points work extremely well in my Remington 783 , the photo is a 3 shot group at 200yds , for factory ammo i think it is excellent , i am wondering if anyone out there knows what powder and bullets Winchester use in this load ,

Extremely shocked at the capability this ammo can do. Shot a nice buck with the .223 64grain deer ammo at 400 yards hit did on where it need to. No over penetration. The deer leaped and dropped. Will highly recommend these and will definitely buy more

I get sub moa three shot groups at 100 yards at the range. Zeroed my Glenfield 30a (Marlin 336) at 150 yards. In the field I have taken one coyote at forty yards and three large hogs at distances from 40 to 250 yards. All were one shot kills except for the one at 250 yards as he needed another shot at 270 yards.

I've taken 3 deer and a 300lb hog with this bullet along with various other small game and coyotes. The hog was shot right between the eyes and the shot path looked like a funnel down into his spine. Put 5 shots inside a 1inch bulls eye at 70yrds. Ammunition is amazingly accurate.

Used these in my 30-30 on a hog hunt in Texas. Took two with one shot at 40 and 140 yards. A third required a follow up shot but the first shot was at 250 yards the follow up shot at 270 yards. As stated above, accurate and lethal!

Remington loadings do not hold a candle, Hornady is overpriced for what is, in my Marlin 336C, underperformance in my opinion. Accurate, Dependable, Deadly. I am a man of few words when few words are all that are needed.

Winchester 308 and 30-06 Power Points will generally equal or exceed the accuracy of my handloads. Winchester brass is giving me the number of loadings I normally expect based upon 48 years of reloading. Unlike ammo another manufacturer- I have Never found a single round of Winchester ammo with a cracked case in a newly opened box. Winchester has NOT lowered quality. Winchester is the ammunition I recommend to my hunting buddies, and I don't hesitate to hunt with it in preference to my own handloads. This is the highest compliment this handloader can possibly give to a manufacturer.
