I had 5 misfires with rims struck by the firing pin while attempting to shoot the hundred rounds of this .22 lr ammo through my clean Ruger mkii competition pistol. Not sure why. Other brand ammo no problem. Ammo seemed old. Purchased new within 6 months from major retailer.

I bought 2 boxes of this ammo. each box had to rounds that failed to fire, and one box included two rounds that would not load into my Winchester rifle. I consider Winchester to be synonymous with quality. This ammo missed the mark.

The primer was not bad bullet shot out of the barrel but primer was ripped from case and case was stuck in The breach Simple fix just stuck cleaning rod through the front of the barrel Rifle was a marlin model 60 Shot somewhere around 75 rounds before this took place Out of the same box Never have had a problem from this brand before

The shells that did fire had good accuracy and I was pleased with the way they performed. However, there were too many misfires in this box of 50 shells. For every 5 shells I loaded into my rifle, 2 were misfires. At first this was comical with my shooting buddies. Then it got really annoying! Some shells would fire if I tried them 2 or 3 times, others were just dead. Not a very good indicator of the quality of Winchester ammo. This was my first, and last box of Winchester 17 cal. Wasted 20 bucks! Will stick with the H brand.

This ammo will do if its all you can get at the time. Prefer CCI mini-mag because its a lot cleaner and more reliable in my opinion, especially in my Ruger 10/22 and Smith & Wesson M&P 15/22 semi auto rifles.

I am a track and field starter who uses a lot of .22 cal blanks. The problem I have is that the only boxes of shells available are the "training" shells. Out of a box of 50 shells, I can expect to get approx 40 "good shells". When you load the pistol you never know if the blanks will work. I am a starter for the NCAA, Big Ten, Big East.

I recently bought a box of 36 grain .22LR. While target shooting there was an explosion that blew my magazine apart and discharged the remaining ammo out of the bottom of the rifle. Mildly burning my forearms and my friends face. I recovered the brass and found the case split open at the primer rim. Blowing the powder backwards in the chamber. I've been using these Super X for what seems like decades. This last bunch didn't disappoint. Pretty accurate out of several pistols and rifles. I won't complain either now that the price has come down on .22LR.

Having trouble getting this ammunition in South Africa, works great in my Norinco JW-15, I have shot rabbits and small antelope upto 120 yards!!! I have won competitions with this ammo as well!! I would group 10 shots at 75 yards in 1/4” groups, all my hunts were 1 shot kills , head shots on rabbits and neck shots on small antelope. I have shot many a geese and duck with it as well. I have been waiting 3years for a shipment to South Africa so I can get it from local gun stores

I've been using Power Points for 30 years. I get groups around a 1/4 inch at 50 yards. I've shot thousands of ground squirrels with PowerPoints

I have been using the Winchester Power Points for years and will not use anything else. I am getting fantastic accuracy across the board in several 22 LR rifles. My CZ 453 will put 10 shots in one hole at 50 yards on a regular basis. I've never had a misfire with the Power Points and reliability in my semi-autos has been stellar. The 40gr Power Point bullet is extremely effective on small game without excessive meat damage. Don't be afraid to stock up on this load!

Never had a jam, never had a fail to fire. I tried another brand of HV+ ammo, and the accuracy was terrible. The Winchester XHV is only a tiny bit less accurate than my best accuracy ammo. I upgraded my Ruger 10/22 to a BX trigger and began to experience some fail to fires with my reference MiniMag ammo. I swapped the original hammer spring into the BX trigger assembly and haven't had a fail to fire since. I'm told MiniMags use a harder case metal, maybe the Winchester XHV does too.

I've shot a lot of this. Using my Spectre suppressor and a bolt action rifle all you hear is the firing pin and the bullet impact on the target. Very accurate also

After many thousands of rounds of various ammos fired from a wide array of weapons over a 3+ year period in all types of weather, there were two that tied for second-place & Winchester was one of them.

Found a box of these in my ammo stash. Don’t know when they were purchased. Tried them in my new Bergara rifle along with 20 plus other types including some that cost over $20 a box. This ammo shot a .33inch ten shot group at 50yds. Best so far. Looking for more.

Just completed the practical range test for a SC CCP. Product performed without a hiccup which is unusual for rimfire ammo.

I have shot roughly 1,000 ground squirrels with this ammo in a Mossberg 144, some sod poodles, and a fox at a bit over 100 yds. Accuracy is good, better than many, but it is the lethality that keeps me shooting from a single lot of 5,000 bullets. No misfires that I can recall.

Over 2000 rounds through my ruger precision had maybe 2 rounds that did not fire I've been using this ammo for rat eradication for many years it is highly affective highly accurate out of my rifle I've had .75" groups @ 200yrds with no wind , lead expansion is perfect for small game , or Rodant removal I've taken down hogs with this ammo ( shot placement is obviously key). I really could not say anything bad or negative about this product except its getting hard to find . I promise this product will amaze you.
