Long Time Shooter

If you want a beautiful rifle that will still shoot lights out this is the one. The rifle is a bit pricy, but is definitely AAA quality. The pictures do not do justice to the tiger maple. The fit, finish and the bluing are of the highest quality. The action and trigger are perfect. I have several rifles in my collection, but this one truly stands out and will be a great rifle to pass down. I took it to the range and it shoots as good as it looks. I topped of with a quality Zeiss scope was after a few break in shots and a good cleaning was shooting sub MOA groups at 100 with ease. The closest 5 shoot group was .25 MOA with quality Hornady ammunition.

Took it out to sight in. It shot more constantly than my late 90’s model 70. My hunting partner and I were both able to drill our previous shots with our second shots. I kept getting exited and turning the dials on the scope the wrong way. Other than that, it was the easiest sight in I have ever encountered. Amazing looks and a great shooter right out of the box. Paired with a vortex hs scope. Looked at other scopes, just liked that model for the way I hunt.

So tired of lifeless plastic gun furniture this maple is beautiful , the walnut version is as spectacular. This rifle follows the tradition winchester supergrade has always represented it is an heirloom quality to pass down to other family members.
