Winchester Hyper Speed .22LR 40gr Rimfire Ammunition, 100 Rounds – XHV22LR

Pretty LOUSY ammo, tried using it in a mossberg semi auto rifle and JAMMED every time. tried cci stingers and they were FLAWLESS .

HIGHEST VELOCITY 22lr FOR 40 GRAIN BULLETS ACCORDING TO MY CHRONOGRAPH. i DEFINITELY RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS A ROUND MORE POWERFUL THAN A HI VELOCITY 22lr BUT NOT AS STRONG AS A 22 mAG.

Sadly, not impressed wIth this. Took 300 rounds to the range with two walther P22s and a mossberg 702 plinkster. Had one or more stovepipE jams on *every* magazine. Round is not powerful enough to blow thE bolt back on sEmi AUTOMATIC firearms. At 1465 deClared fps, this should have been fine. I’ll stick with cci from here on.

Experienced one misfire in a box of 100. Did not appear to achive hyper velocity, felt like a standard high velocity load. Grouped consistantly good to very good in my .22 semi auto S&W pistol.

Sportsman's is a great store. They treated me great and exchanged the incorrect ammo for the correct stuff. The ammo works just fine and has no quality issues that I have experienced.

I had been looking for this particular ammo for awhile and really enjoyed the ability to order online and pick-up in store.

Very powerful round works in semi autos with no jams. Excellent for small and medium game. This ammo is very accurate. I can hit a vertical shot gun shell at 50yrds all day long. This 40 grain round will really reach out to 100 yards with excellent accuracy.

Shoot this in my Ruger 10/22 sporter 20” and get 1/2” groups at 50yd and will print 1 to 1.5” at 100yds with a good pop on game. Don’t use on squirrels or rabbits unless you head shot them it is destructive on meat, I learned the hard way.

Really good ammo. I bought a .22 conversion upper kit and used several brands of ammo from Remington golden, federal high velocity, fiocchi, and many others. It will only feed properly with a hand full of brands as to the plethera. These Winchester's are one of the few to feed perfectly. The others will cause a jam every 2 or 3 round usually double feeding. The 4 stars is because these are fairly pricy compared the the others that my upper will accept. About 2 to 4 bucks higher.
