Highly recommend the Winchester 5.56 green tip very reliable ammo nothing I dislike about this brand

I know that the green tip ammo is not the best for quick kill knock down. Late to the party. Take whatever I can get. Lucky to get this. On the positive side, it may shoot through sheet metal better than a lead bullet.

The box was smashed open when I received it and a lot of the brass was dented up pretty badly. I know times are tough for ammo availability but these looked like the seen some rough storage . For the nearly $800 it cost after shipping and tax I would have expected better. I don’t recommend

Fast shipping, as advertised. I recommend though, that it be boxed inside another, slightly larger box, because the shipping company (UPS) just dropped it on my front porch in the manufacturers box clearly labeled as ammunition. For those who may not be at home when it arrives, this could be a security concern as it is a high-value item that could be stolen off the porch.

Really disappointed in this box of ammo. Several rounds about 10% of the box had casings that were really distorted. If I'm desperate I'll try to fire them someday, but otherwise they're put aside. This was my first ever purchase of 5.56 Bulk rounds because of the severe shortage of .223 rounds. Maybe this is how all Bulk 5.56 rounds look but I'm thinking probably not, especially at the price. If they are reloaded rounds, the description should say.

A reliable round day after day, regardless of conditions. Brass is great, and is new. (That's annealed brass, btw) If you don't reload it, safe it for a friend that does. They will thank you.

Please note this is steel core ammo. Minor variations in exact core placement can cause looser groupings at longer range. At ranges most of us shoot at this stuff is great but please understand this isn’t 500 yard shooting competition ammo. If you have a $200 bipod to steady a 20x scope as you calculate the gravitational pull of the moon’ effect on your shot this is not the ammo you need.
