WINCHESTER SXP MARINE DEFENDER

This gun is perfect for home defense. I did replace the stock with an ATI adjustable, to lengthen the pull and have an adjustable cheek rest. Only other thing to improve it for me would be a fiber optic rear sight. The front sight is incredible in all light conditions.

I purchased this weapon for home defense purposes at the Auburn, NY store 2 years ago. It has never misfired or demonstrated any other operational problem. The reliable ergonomic design of this shotgun is the same as the Model 1200 that I received on my 16th birthday in 1967 - index finger safety release and reliable pump action reload. The compactness of this model makes it excellent for close quarter home defense use, the corrosion resistant materials are appropriate for a weapon that will sit on standby for long periods of time without protective coverings. It is ideally suited for my intended purpose.

best price i could find, cant even find these now, got lucky for one day bass pro had them in for shipping. Got a $25 rebate back from winchester and 10% back with ruketan. Seams like a nice gun havent had a chance to shoot yet. But cycled some shells through , pretty smooth. Should be great for home defense.

Bought this because everyone needs a shotgun! Good quality, well built and cycles like butter. I put 30 rounds through it at the range with 0 hiccups.

Just got the shotgun and am very disappointed. Bought it on line and thought it would be chrome as stated. It is more like a grey paint job and poor one at that. Feels very cheaply made. Not what I would expect from Winchester.

Ordered one and when it arrived at the Gainesville VA store am I glad the associate assembled it and tried to pump the shotgun. It got stuck. First he said put some oil on it. It will work its way right. I was like nah. He toed again and the pump action sheered off metal from the gun and that piece of bright silver metal fell on the floor! Forget that! I got a full refund. Thank God I didn't buy this one. Went ahead and bought the Benelli instead. Cabela's is A+

Was looking for a tact. shotgun,Bass Pro had 1 in store so I grabbed it up.After purchase I added a sling,velcro side saddle for shells,and a mag tube picatinny rail w/ light.All inexpensive accessories that make this an even nicer home defense gun.Took it to the range and it shot even better for me with the fiber optic removed, so I left it off.

Very fast handling 12gage for home and boat with a stainless finish. This 18 inch barrel and no nonsense stock does not get hung up. you can handle this shotgun with ease.

Came defective, locks up and does not reset the trigger - Crap quality control. Had to send for repair second day after receipt

This gun is great. If your a lefty its ambidextrous because the cross bolt safety is reversable and the slide release is in the same spot as mossberg and browning. Its matte chrome not spray paint like one other reviewer had thought

nice firearm for the money. Trigger a bit stiff but that will break in. Love the front sight and the stainless steel look.

I drove about 100 miles 1 away to pick up a chrome 12 gauge I had paid for online about 4 days ago. After opening the box it was stainless not chrome as advertised. The price was good and reluctantly accepted the stainless. A big let down but a really nice shotgun. I just wanted the chrome version.

Gun in fine inexpensive shotgun. However spec on this page says 12 gauge 5 plus one 1 magazine. That is incorrect. The gun is 4 plus 1 with 2 3/4 shells and 3 plus 1 with 3 inch shells.

Bought a week ago and put Sauk slugs through and experienced 5 malfunctions out of 10 shots. Had to slam the but on the ground To pop the shell out and cycle the load 4 times.This is unacceptable and will not buy Winchester again, I can understand that this is manufactured in turkey, as well that the gun parts themselves seem to be of decent quality. however the bolt catch design of the shotgun is absolutely horrid and cannot trust company that would allow such a design to be sold.

I owned this gun for over 2 years and right outta the box it constantly double feeds shells pretty consistently making me have to shoot the gun like a single shot. I expected better from winchester I would take my maverick 88 over this gun any day

Jammed right off the bat with new Winchester Shells. Not confidence instilling. Have it at a gun smith as bass pro will not except returns. Buyer beware.

Had for a few years put roughly a couple thousand rounds thru never had one single issue. Works as a pump should. Smooths out after a while. Doesn't rust. Doesn't jam. Smooth and looks nice. For the price it's well worth it.

I bought this over a year ago and have about 1200 rounds through it and it works great. After a brief wear in period it functions very well. Despite being Turkish made the Winchester mad shotgun still holds up.

I'm concerned about the shipping the gun is put In another box and shipped without any packing This is the third time I have told grab a gunGuns and pricing GREAT !Shipping dept needs HELP!

Great gun. Very smooth and fast pump action. Super accurate with slugs. Bought as a home defense weapon.
