Winchester Varmint X .22-250 Remington 55gr, Varmint X Polymer, 20rd Box

Fired product using Remington Model 788; have never had issues with this rifle before. ammunition appeared to be a very hot load: it was extremely hard to lift bolt to load another round; primers were flattend with some cratering around the firing pin indention; noticible scraping of brass by the ejector port; black gas smudges were visible aroung the edges of the primer.

Fired six of these rounds through my 22 hornet, these things are smoking hot. Dangerous in fact, two of them blew apart in my chamber. now i'm of to the gunsmith to get my beloved checked over. Thanks Winchester.

Great Product that dumps coyotes quickly. I shoot sub 1/2 inch groups on the range,from my Remington 700 sps Varmint.Overall my favorite round for coyote hunting!

Used this load for Prairie dogs many times and have loved the results. Shooting a CMMG with 24'' bbl I have regularly lit up mound critters at 500 yds or better. Cycles wonderfully! Would recommend to anyone!

I am running this in a .243 22" barreled, right bolt, left port single shot rifle. On my first two boxes of ammo I got the following groups: 100 yards-0.25" 200 Yards-0.65" 300 Yards-1.18" 400 Yards-2.20" Considering this was done outdoors with a 58 grain bullet, on a near virgin barrel, I would say this product is showing exceptional accuracy.

used this in .22-250, new scope sighted in at 1.5 inch high at 100. tight group in my Tikka T3X. Used on fox after that at 200, fox no more! Great!

For years I shot FMJ when shooting praire dogs in ND because of the price. Not anymore, the Varmit X from Winchester not only shoots accurate but makes seeing your hits on dogs far easier. Cycles flawlessly through my APF MSR.

I’ve found that the Winchester varmint x is the most accurate round in my .223, .22-250, and .243. It’s the only round that will hit with consistency.

Brand new Browning XBolt Predator in 204 Ruger. I tried rounds from Hornady, Federal and Winchester in 32 and 40 grain weights. This VarmintX 32 grain round was hands down the most accurate round of the 5 different rounds I tried. All shot same day ,same conditions with gun on a leadsled. This rounds a keeper.

Wow...unreal. LOVE this 55-grain round! In the spring I bought an LWRC 18" varmint upper, then built up the rest of the AR over the last few months (Magpul stock, Vortex 3-18x and SSA-E trigger). While sitting I can put 10 consecutive rounds of this through a quarter sized hole at 50m. Going to buy this in bulk as soon as production is upped! Thank you, Winchester!

Using 55gr in my Tikka T3X .223 this round from Winchester both accurate and deadly. Shoots like a laser and massively explosive on impact the VarmintX dumps all its energy in the target and in EXACTLY the place i point it. This kind of efficiency means you get all the benefits of a homeload but in factory ammunition. Price is great, results are great....VarmintX is great. Buy it, shoot it, love it.
