I ordered this combination in 300 Win Mag and feel like I made a good choice. The quality and finish is very good and the scope performs extremely well on this rifle. Zeroed at 200 yds. with 10 rounds, although it was off the paper at first, shooting low and left. A few tweeks of the scope and it was good to go. It does seem a little picky with ammo, working just fine with Winchester ammo, but had some extraction issues with Remington where it was catching on the soft point nose of the next round in the mag. I'm content with the Winchester ammo Super X 180 gr. so I'm not worried about it. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good rifle at an affordable price.

I purchased my second XPR from a local shop in 300 Win Mag and topped it off with a Nikon Profstaff 5 riflescope. My previous XPR was a 7mm Rem Mag. I've also had Brownings and they appear to have the same recoil pad as the XPR. I love my 300 Win Mag and the recoil pad; the rifle kicks no harder than my 30-06. Mind you the rifle moves back a little faster and you should have at least 4" eye relief; however, I am very satisfied with the XPR. The rings that come with the rifle need to be upgraded, I used the XPR integrated base/ring kit in intermediate height. I target shoot more than I hunt and I hunt a large part of the season for moose and deer with my Indian status. I've went through a couple dozen rifles since I started hunting a few years ago and I must say the XPR is the best BANG for you BUCK (no puns intended)! I recommend the XPR to everyone I know, whether they're on a budget or not.

I have run a couple of boxes of shells through it and I am very pleased. It was dead on right out of the box.

Bought the XPR in .270 before last hunting season and am very impressed with this rifle. The action is smooth, the trigger is crisp, the stock feels substantial and not cheap like some other guns, and it's very accurate even with cheaper ammo (I'm using 130 grain Rem core-lokts). I bought this rifle when it was on sale and have since put a Nikon Monarch 3 4-16x50 and a muzzle brake on it and couldn't be happier with its performance. I was looking for a good hunting set up for a wide range of animals and wanted to keep the cost down and so far this rifle has been the ticket. I harvested one deer so far and often shoot targets at 200 yards and am very happy with the accuracy this gun provides on the range and in the field. Not only that but this gun looks great too. If you are looking to get way more gun than you pay for you have found it.

Bought this Rifle in a 7 mm Rem Mag. Took gun to Range and fired through a box of 150 Grain shells just to get use to the rifle at 100 to 250 yards. Went hunting last fall. (2018) 1 shot, 1 Moose at 148 yards. Love this rifle/scope combo set. Yes I definitely would recommend.

Nice gun. Nice scope. I got the xpr in 6.5 creedmoor and couldn’t be happier with how accurate it is. This is a 3 shot and a 5 shot group. 3 shot was with Winchester expedition big game 142g accubond and the 5 shot was with Winchester deer season xp 125g. Killer group with the 125g. Gonna try some other ammo just to see but pretty happy so far.

I bought this rifle chambered in .308 this fall and no joke I am been getting 1/2”-3/4” groupings @ 500 yards with my 6-24x56mm mounted scope and handloads. Even with factory ammunition it is still a tack driver! I’m definitely going to be purchasing a few more XPR’s in the near future.

This gun is as accurate as I’ve ever seen before. I bought it in .300 winmag with the Vortex scope and I’m hitting the bullseye dead centre straight out of the box! No need to break it in just get it zeroed in and its ready for the hunt!

Bought this for my sons first rifle in 30.06. Sighted it in and then took it on his first deer hunt recently and he made a great shot and harvested a buck. Accurate and reasonably priced with a decent scope. Good value rifle.

By far the best bolt/scope clearance of any gun I have. The rem 783, savage 11/110 etc all cycle the bolt right up to the scope. It's super accurate also. The bolt alone is worth buying for....

Scope almost sighted outside of the box. Took it to the range and dialled it in. Tight groupings at 200 yards. Very reliable. I bought chambered in the 300 Win Mag, and I was surprised how little kick I felt, which was due to the shoulder pad on the stock. Highly recommended. I'll look into fixing this on my own, but I wish I could hold my face a little farther away from the scope and still get a clear picture. It's a little awkward at times. Overall 5/5, easy. Well worth the money. I don't expect to buy another hunting rifle for a very long time.

I bought this rifle 2 years ago and recently I had a bad fall with the rifle and dropped it. I took it to the range the next day and to my surprise it was still zeroed.

This gun has been seriously impressive. This gun has taken multiple animals. Once I got it zeroed, I was shooting sub MOA with Hornady ammo. Smooth action, the 60 deg bolt throw is a huge convenience. Had zero problems loading/unloading. Just upgraded to MDT chassis and feeds great. Definitely recommend

I bought this rifle on May 09th, 2021. After cleaning the rifle, I checked the action and I must sat that I am not impressed with the ejector. Quite simply it doesn't work. I have to tilt the rifle to the side to extract the practice cartridge. Would I have bought if I knew,...NO!! Buyer Beware, that's what I get for buying a cheap rifle!!

I was sighting in my brothers rifle this week in a 270win. This rifle was really accurate with 130gr sierra SBT. Although it was accurate it only gets 3 stars because of the kick. It kicks much harder than my X-Bolt 270win shooting the same bullets. It is a good price for the combo and I didn't feel the need to replace the scope. Just be aware that this rifle kicks hard.

I've owned a few rifles in my time. I currently own this rifle in the camo stock. Combined with a scorpion rds scope and using hornady american whitetail in 7mm-08, I'm not the best shooter out there but the idea that I got 3 out of 4 shots within a 6 inch shoot and see target, I'm happy with the results. Probably would have been a better group if I used a stabilizer or gun rest to take out all human error but I practice without to simulate my hunting environment. The recoil pad is really good on this rifle, I like the locking bolt & trigger safety & the release button so you can empty the rifle with the safety on. Good feeling rifle. Only negative I have on this product is that the mag only holds 3 rounds. I would have preferred 5 but it's no deal breaker.

The gun did not work out of the box. No support from Cabelas, just referred me to the manufacturer. Had to ship it in for repairs and won’t get it back for 4-6 weeks. I suggest purchasing from a shop that stands behind what they sell.
