I've owned two Colt AR15A4s (still own one). The WW is a great alternative if you'd like to save a few bucks. WW's quality is great! Everything was nicely finished and properly built/assembled. I highly recommend! Still love my Colt though.

I had some initial issues with it... it would not lock in all brands of loaded magazines on a closed bolt, and there was some barrel deflection based on where you held the front of it while firing when using a scope. Wyndham took it back, communicated promptly, clearly, and personally... got the magazine issue fixed, but the deflection is just something inherent in government-profiled long barrels. Just like the one I used to carry in the military, back 32 years ago when I was in the Army, except it is only semi-automatic. Shoots great, lot's of fun, solid and well built, very sturdy...brings back lots of memories!

Fit and finish is excellent. The hand guards are rigid and don't flex like most commercial a2 style hand guards.

I only have about 250 rounds through mine (all brass-cased), but I cleaned it before shooting it the first time and reliability has been 100%. Accuracy has been very good and consistent, no doubt aided by the rifle-length sight radius. A very nice surprise was how good the factory trigger is. You won't confuse it with a $200 two-stage trigger, but it's an eminently-usable single stage trigger that's quite smooth without a terrible amount of creep. this is an excellent 20in ar-15 weapon, my cousin has this model, he acquired it 2 years ago and has about 2k rounds down the pipe with no issues, it is reliable and accurate.

Windham Weaponry makes a fantastic rifle. This is my second rifle from Windham my first being a carbine. I have ordered over ten Rifles and pistols from grabagun and highly recommend them. CAme in a nice hard case, Fit and finish is great and just what i expected, it seems to be a heavily built Qual firearm not a cheap lightweight one. I havent fired it yet but appearance wise im very happy and am planning on buyin the m-4 style As soon as it comes in stock

Great! Put 100 rounds down range to break it in. No issues. everything is nice and tight and she shoots great! Only had to adjust the sights very little to get on bullseye. Did not buy it here, buy I do love Sportsman and this is a grest price. It seemed to me a big excellent ar that could handle a big round and be downsized with other barrels or even made an AK. My opinion of course. But firing it with just a regular 5.56 is nothing, no kick, but a rumble. Very cool.

Very accurate and easy to dissemble. Came with black a lockable plastic case and sling trap. I would describe this rifle ready to shoot out of box type.

This is my 2nd Windham rifle in the ar platform. Have not yet had time to fire this one but it looks great and I expect it to run flawlessly just as my first one always have. In my opinion they are among the best.

I love my Windham Weaponry R20 Government rifle. It is accurate and very well made. I put a scope and an 45 degree offset red dot on mine to modify it. I kept the carry handle on it for a while cause I just love the classic look but added the optics to make the rifle a little more versatile. Recommend this rifle to anyone wanting an a2/a4 style AR. Will not be disappointed.
