such fond memories. this rifle is very well made and also had great accuracy. even with my old eyes, i was able to deliver 2 inch groups at 100 yards with the iron sights. this is a great pick if you are trying to collect firearms that are close to what the originals were. the only difference between this, and the A1 I carried in the early 80's is the stamping on the receiver. Love it.

I wanted a vietnam era retro style m16a1 and found ExActly what i was looking for. Coming With A hard case, Tactical 2 point sling and 30 rD mag was a nice touch. I Highly recommend for fans of the classiC m16 platform.

This is the best shooting rifle , I've ever owned . It swings and lines up like an extension of your arm. It shoots unbelievably well for open sights . You can add a trijicon scope to it should you be rich enough. I like mine as is . It's a throw in the seat ,rough and rowdy type weapon , sights are protected . The supply of a1 uppers has diminished over the last few years. Been wanting to get a retro build going. Got this instead and wow. Out of the box, perfect zero. Shot out to 200yards on steel.
