Solid as a tank, eats steel no problem, easy to clean like any AK. Only complaint is that the Zastava magazines are about twice as expensive as any Euro/Asian steel mags. If you're wanting more 922r compliant mags, just buy Bulgarian/Korean mags and US-made followers & floorplates in bulk.

Best ak currently on the market for the money. Even with the recent 100 dollar price hike I'll give it 5 stars but the value aspect is getting less if it keeps rising. If you don't know anything about ak's either get this or a century arms wasr10 (the only century arms ak you should ever consider) or a palmetto state armory ak(any current production model).

Great value in today's market, comes beautifully packaged with a steel magazine, user manual and a product info sheet from Zastava USA. You couldn't be disappointed with this instrument if you tried. Top dog in the "budget friendly" AK platform.

Great rifle, handles very solid, all rivets very secure and metal finishing was perfect. I love the bolt hold open feature and build in rail mount. The only complaint I have is that my front hand guards have two different shades of finish on either side. Almost as if one side didn’t get as much finish as the other. But that’s easily fixable. I 10/10 would buy this again, except next time with the side folding stock.

Well worth it!!! If you have a chance to buy the zastava zpap m70 or the century arms vska but the zastava. It shoots 10 times better.

Well worth the wait. The fit and finish was outstanding. Much better quality then others at a similar price.

Solid AK, pretty impressed with the build. You really can’t go wrong with this brand/model. Only dislike is that “read manual before use” engraving on the frame.

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks Sportsmans. Perfect Zastava M70, performs well, shoots well, reliable. Zastava makes great AK's.

Very nice AK, shoots smooth, trigger is good, happy to own it. Only gripe is that I have a low fill mark on my gas block. Zastava had me send it in to check it out and deemed it cosmetic. I sent pictures to AK operators union and robski agreed. So be it, it’s an ak not a diamond ring, but it does annoy me. Have put around 1k rounds through it and it runs like a champ. Would buy again.

Yes I would recommend this product I was a little disappointed in the way it looked when I came out of the box took it apart about a week of hard work made it look awesome by the way it works great smooth as a sign machine

Top tier AK. A bit heavier than a standard AK due to receiver, trunnion and barrel thickness but not by a lot. Given the option between this and a stamped Arsenal, I'd go with a new Zastava.

I love it. Good looking wood on mine…before I got it, I fretted about having to take things off and do stuff to the finish, and sort of regretted not going with Serbian red. I forgot all about that little stuff when I started shooting it. I threw on a blue force Vickers sling and changed the muzzle device to a Manticore Arms Nightbrake. This isn’t an AR, unless you’re reloading you SHOULD be feeding it steel case. Get your cheek up in that stock and shoot it nose to dust cover and it’ll put a

Love it . No other words needed, I have put about 3k rounds and only 1 jam because the magazine wasn't in properly. Not the gun at all.

Very pleased with this gun. Fit and finish is first rate and the Walnut furniture is beautiful. Have not fired it yet but Zastava has a super reputation for reliability.

Very happy with this rifle, I’ve take it twice to the range and I’m very impressed. 250 rounds in and not one fail to feed or eject. Unlike my ARs. Quality is nice as well. I like it enough I just ordered a second one.

In my oh-so-humble opinion Zastava's ZPAPM70 is the best balance of cost and quality. As of this writing I've only put 100 rounds through it, but I've had no issues with reliability, regardless of which ammo type I've used. For those of you in the, "If it can't handle the steel, it doesn't deserve the brass!" camp of AK users this one certainly fits the bill. I've put Selier & Belot, Chicom milsurp as well as Winchester commercial brass through it with not so much as a hiccup. Pros:

Happy with my purchase, had a little issue when I picked up the gun, reached out to zastava and they corrected the issue. Well put together, nice features and shoots straight. Thinking of mounting this one on the wall cause it just looks so damn good

I did my research before getting this gun. I’m impressed. The rivets are on receiver well done and the bolt locking system from Zastava is nice for ranges that require an open bolt. The gun is much lighter than I thought it would be. The classic “AK” furniture looks amazing. The furniture will need boiled linseed oil to maintain its appearance, as the furniture is not lacquered. Magpul AK mags fit with no wobble, while surplus mags from Bulgaria have a little wobble. Overall this AK is amazing for the price point. Can’t say enough about the quality of this gun.

The rifle is a beauty, but arrived in a very bland walnut color. The wood was extremely pale and appeared somewhat unfinnished. I proceeded to dissassemble and stain all the wood furniture in order to achieve a more proper walnut look. Other than that, the handguard retainer was extremely tight due to it being forced closed slightly out of the proper position, but again an easy fix. With everything corrected the rifle is beautiful.
